Tsé Bitʼaʼí (Shiprock) on Navajo land in the northwest corner of New Mexico is a site to see. This was on my life list of places to photograph. I highly recommend you take the time to go for a view.

For the past several months I have been working on an art project, but it is not photography.

I am not to sure if anyone is interested in seeing it or not here because this page was created to showcase my photographic work.

These images originated from a drawing from a text book. The book is titled ENGINEERING DRAWING by Thomas E. French which was published in 1947 and is listed as the 7th Edition. The drawing in the book is on page 33 and is listed as Fig. 3-36.

Alysha picked this book up for me at a thrift store or a garage sale some time back. She has no idea how much I have enjoyed that book and how much the content inspires me.

These five panels all contain parts of the same drawing that I created in a civil design program. After the drawings were completed I then used some of the same methods editing them that I sometime use when working on a photograph.

These are rather personal to me as the entire process of creating these has helped me get through some s**t. 2022 has been a challenge for me from a lot of different angles. This book has helped keep my brain occupied in a positive way and I am so thankful for that. Alysha will never understand how thankful I am for her thinking if me when she saw the book for sale.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful 2022. This image was taken in central Nebraska north of a small town called Seneca. We absolutely fell in love with the Sand Hills area. I am probably going to be bailing on Instagram and Facebook with sharing my photography. I plan on moving over to Flickr. I will keep you posted.
