THE LOVES | Myles + Kylie

Some wedding days just hit a little closer to home, and this was one of them.

I’ve grown up alongside Kylie my entire life, and from the moment I met Myles, I just knew he was her person. Getting to watch one of your best friends marry the love of her life is one thing, but getting to stand beside her as a personal attendant AND capture pieces of their day is something I’ll cherish forever.

And let me tell you, these two know how to throw a PARTY. From sunup to sundown, it was nothing short of beautiful, chaotic in the best way, and SO full of love. Every little detail was stunning, but nothing compared to seeing two people I love so much be celebrated by everyone who loves them.

One of the greatest gifts this job has given me is the opportunity to document some of the biggest moments in the lives of the people closest to me. There’s something so special about getting to be both a friend and the person behind the camera, knowing just how much these moments mean.

I love you two BIG. What a day, what a party, and what a privilege to be a part of it all.

THE VAN DEN EINDES | Brandon + Annika

Saturday called for rain. All. Day. We had backup plans beyond backup plans, and somehow Mother Nature heard every single one of our prayers. The skies held off, the gloominess made everything feel extra cozy, and we didn’t let the forecast stop us for a second.

This wedding was such a sentimental one for me.

Brandon has always been like an extra little brother to me. He and my brother have been friends for as long as I can remember, so I grew up with him and his brothers. Then, years later, I met Annika after marrying my husband and moving up to their neck of the woods. Somehow all these different pieces of my life came together, and I got to be the one documenting their wedding day.

I have photographed MANY, many couples, and I’m not lying when I say these two were handpicked by God for each other. They are genuinely the male and female versions of one another. I don’t think I’ve ever had a couple stop me in my tracks quite like these two and make me think, “Wow. THIS is what it means to be made for each other.”

I cried. I laughed. I prayed for that rain to stay away… and I left feeling so incredibly grateful that I got to have a small part in a day that meant so much to me.

3/4 Gapp family weddings in the books, and let me tell you—they NEVER disappoint.

If I could go back and redo my own wedding, this one would be the inspo. And if you know me, you know it makes perfect sense. Browns, tiramisu, espresso martinis, all wrapped into the most perfect fall wedding!? DONE.

Every detail was so intentional, so stunning, and so them. Add in the most beautiful fall day and some of my favorite people to photograph, and this one was just too good.

What a DAY. Truly the most perfect September wedding.

Every single detail was stunning, the weather couldn’t have been better, and the sweetest little country church made the entire day feel that much more special. Everything about it was just so, so pretty.

Fall minis are officially wrapped up, and yesterday truly was the perfect day!

Together we raised around $200 for Twist of Fate, which helps give people with physical disabilities the opportunity to go on archery hunting trips. Thank you so much to everyone who donated!

A few extra thank yous are definitely needed — to my husband for all his help setting up (and believe it or not, quite a few of the prop ideas were actually his!), to Emily with Faithful Roots Farm for all the beautiful pumpkins + good conversation while picking them up, All Seasons Nursery & Flowers in Grand Forks for the gorgeous mums, and my in-laws for some of the extra decor!

And of course, thank you to everyone who came out and supported these minis. It was such a fun day!

This one hit a little differently in this season of life.

What a privilege it is to be tired from doing something I once dreamed of doing full time.

Right now, that looks like a lot of late nights, a lot of hours behind my computer, and quite honestly… a whole lot of editing. I’m nearly caught up on my regular sessions (!!!), but I currently have the largest wedding editing queue I’ve ever had.

So to every single one of you patiently waiting for your gallery — thank you. Truly.

I know how exciting it is to get those photos back, and I never want to rush through a gallery simply for the sake of checking it off my list. These are your wedding days. Your memories. Photos you’ll hopefully still be looking through decades from now. They deserve my full attention and the same care I would want someone to give my own.

So I’m choosing quality over rushing. Always.

I’m editing away, one beautiful wedding at a time, and I promise your turn is coming. Thank you for trusting me with some of the biggest moments of your lives — and for giving me the grace and patience to create something I’m proud to hand back to you.

What a privilege this exhaustion really is.

TRENTON + NATALIE

I had these two absolute gems in front of my camera a few weeks ago, and I’m still not over how much fun this session was.

I’ve known Natalie for a little while now, but I’m pretty convinced we’re the same person just living on opposite sides of the state. And Trenton? Basically my husband, also living on the opposite side of the state.

Needless to say, the four of us would probably get along a little too well.

These two made the entire evening feel less like a session and more like hanging out with old friends. So much laughing, so much personality, and the kind of love that’s just FUN to photograph.

I could go back and relive this one again and again and again. Natalie + Trenton, you two are absolute models.
