The auto road on Mt. Washington is pretty dizzying, and takes about 25 minutes in a road car — on a good day — to summit. To watch slay the road (and 6000ft of elevation) in 5 minutes and 28 seconds is something I’ll never forget. Head to Travis’ profile to watch this guy tango with 862 horsepower, mixed surfaces, and sheer drop offs. Legend.

To say this thing was a showstopper at doesn’t do it justice. If you’ve ever seen a salvage-title Audi R8 for sale and wondered “what if”, let me introduce you to ! Had a great time chatting with the build team and seeing/hearing the turbo V10 do its thing down the front straight at . I’m definitely keeping tabs on this machine and hoping to document it on the “high boost” setting. 👀

A few more selects from at . Love going to this race every year and missed it last year.

A costly lesson I learned is to always pack sunscreen. The forecast was meant to be cloudy and stormy, and it was mostly sunny — I didn’t make it very far into the main event!

Still, lesson learned. Coming up: the Mt. Washington Hillclimb and in a few weeks. I’m excited, and I’m packing sunscreen.
