THE MCGOVERNS // I'm not quite sure I've ever met two people more in love for life, each other, and their people than Michaela and Garrett. An infectious joy, the happiest of happy, and two people so in love, you know they are soulmates. As one of the toasts said "to be loved my Michaela is a blessing" - and that's rightfully so. M+G love hard, love each other, and love their family and friends fiercely. It was the perfect weekend.

NYC // Admist the online energy surrounding NYC, sharing a few favorite film snaps from NYBFW this April. One of my favorite designers that we carry at ellis blake bridal | a sacramento bridal shop and one of my true favorites T R I S H P E N G Trish Peng is the absolutely sweetest. Reminiscing on NYC, its energy, and counting down until another visit.

NYC // When half of your love story plays out in the grand city of New York, it only makes sense to journey around the infamous island of Manhattan for your engagement. From favorite jaunts in Chinatown, to catching the train weekly at Grand Central Station - Amber and Shengshen wanted to memorialize their love of iconic NYC. A puppy walk by Bethesda fountain, shopping in Soho, and a sunset in Brooklyn, we left no stone unturned. Cheers to my favorite city (and a Knicks win last night! ).

Today on : the stunning wedding of Yoana and Dylan.

Inspired by the handprinted florals on her wedding gown and veil, Yoana enlisted 19 of the ladies who helped shape who she is - from childhood to schooling to work, and each phase of her life featured a color - blue, green, and lilac.

To celebrate, Y+D wed under ’s iconic oak tree after walking through a meadow of wildflowers. From handcalligraphied leather coasters and the beer b***o at cocktail hour, to unique moss, vegetable and floral installs at dinner by , to a custom tiramisu tower and cake, these two treated their guests to the best of the best, planned and designed by .

SENTIMENTAL // There are weddings that are familial celebrations. There are weddings that are epic parties. And there are weddings that are so dang sweet, so dang pure, that you can’t help but miss the day.

Hannah and Dolph, surrounded by their favorite people, chose to wed in San Francisco’s Presidio, only a few miles from where they reside and where they fell in love. From sweet moments of joy, to the way their family and friends champion them, and how hard they love - it was a day full of sentimental moments, relaxed timing, and all the film.

The most stunning San Francisco sunset at Baker Beach with A+J. We had drinks where they first met, took their doggo on a walk, and ended up at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

FIVE // Someone please tell me how to stop time?

The little bestie is FIVE today and I'm unwell. 🥹

My Ellis Jay - you are the funniest, most athletic (!!), kind hearted, silliest, and best little bestie I could ever have asked for. You teach me daily to challenge limits (lol), strive for great things, compete with heart, and that one human can seem like they're caffeinated without caffeine?! (send help sos)

and I would like to slow down time but we are also so ready for our elementary school era 🤍
