Hey all! 👋

I wanted to share a quick reminder of what I’m booking this year, since it’ll look a little different than in the past. While it may seem like a lot, it’s actually less than what I normally book!

✨ Open Booking (booking year-round):
• Weddings - now booking 2026 & 2027
• High School Seniors - now booking Class of 2027
• Maternity
• Newborns

✨ Limited Booking - Portraits & Family Sessions:
These will only be available through mini sessions this year.
(You’re welcome to book two consecutive mini slots if you’d like extra time!)

📸 Mini Sessions Offered:
• Mother’s Day - April (Archbold Studio)
• Summer - August (Toledo only)
• Fall - October (3 dates: Toledo, Defiance, Archbold)
• Christmas - November (Christmas Tree Farm)

Getting married?

One important conversation to have with your photographer is if they are a documentary/journalist style or creator/production style photographer. Or both!

Why does this matter?

Time. Timeline. Amount of photos. This changes a few things.

A documentary photographer can provide more images in shorter time windows because they are just capturing as you go by barely interfering. You get what it is.

A creator photographer will set up shots, move things around, get specific different angles essentially producing moments but this may result in less images being delivered. Most likely the images you receive are more perfect in opinions. This may also require more time for their services.

And some photographers can mold into either of these or be a mix style. But some are firm in their style and if you didn’t ask you might be confused on what you receive. Neither is incorrect, it’s just super important to be on the same page with your photographer.

14 years ago, I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into when I picked up a camera. I never imagined it would be my career, take me across cities and states, open doors, and shape my life in ways I couldn’t see at the time.

Photography wasn’t even a passion when I started… it was more of an internal pull I chose to follow. That pull led me to passion, supporting myself, growing in character, and connecting with others. Even then, not fully following the Lord, He was quietly at work, guiding me toward His purpose. I almost said no to the wedding that jump-started my career — she asked me three times to photograph it. I didn’t recognize the call, but I took a leap of faith, and here we are. Every step, every wedding, every session, every mile traveled has been part of His plan.

This path has been a true miracle. I’m introverted, so talking to new people isn’t easy — yet somehow, this job works and I can do it no problem. I know it’s God’s hand at every step.

This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for every moment this journey has brought — for the families and years of trust. I’m always trusting God to guide me wherever He leads, knowing His plan is always perfect.
