Some sessions are planned, and some become an adventure. 🤠🌧️

These sweet Texans showed up ready to have fun, and when the rain rolled in, they didn’t miss a beat. They danced in the rain, splashed through the creek, laughed the whole time, and reminded me that some of the best moments are the ones you never see coming.

The way they look at each other, the way they laugh together, and the way they embraced every unexpected moment made this session feel like something straight out of a country song.

Maybe that’s what I loved most about these two. They weren’t worried about perfect weather or perfect photos. They were simply enjoying the moment and each other.

Halley reached out for a couple's session, little did I know she was carrying a secret. 🤍

When my friend told me she and her boyfriend would be visiting from Texas and wanted to squeeze in a photo session, I was excited to spend some time with them and capture a few memories.

What I didn't know was that this session would become so much more.

As we laughed, wandered through the water, and chased the last bit of evening light, they shared the sweetest news—they were expecting. Suddenly every photo meant something different. What started as a couple's session became a celebration of a growing family.

Looking back at these images now, I see excitement, hope, and two people already loving their little one with their whole hearts.

Getting to keep this secret and now finally share it has been such an honor.

Congratulations, sweet friends. Your greatest adventure is just beginning. 🤍👣✨

What a wonderful evening celebrating the incredible Class of 2026! 🎓✨

A huge congratulations to all of the graduates who were recognized during Senior Scholarship Night. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have opened doors to exciting opportunities, and these scholarships are a testament to all you have accomplished.

A special thank you to the Education Foundation for once again hosting such a meaningful celebration for our students. Your continued support of education and commitment to recognizing student achievement makes a lasting impact on our community.

Salt air, golden sunsets, sandy toes, and a girl completely at home by the ocean. 🌊☀️✨

This senior session felt like summer wrapped up in the sweetest soul. From dancing through the waves and barefoot walks along the shoreline to soft sunset skies and windswept curls, every moment felt effortless and full of joy.

And can we talk about the versatility?! One minute she’s giving coastal cowgirl in boots and beachy whites, the next she’s glowing in the sunset looking like she stepped straight out of a seaside dream. 🤍🌴

What made this session even more special is knowing there’s so much strength and passion behind that smile. A beach-loving, fun-loving, fearless trapeze artist ready to soar into her next chapter — and honestly, that spirit showed in every single photo.

Senior year is such a beautiful mix of freedom, excitement, and becoming who you’re meant to be… and this session captured every bit of that magic. 🌅

The future looks so bright for this sweet girl, and I cannot wait to see all the places she flies. 💫

More than a ribbon cutting — it was a celebration of purpose, opportunity, and the incredible future being built for students in our community. ❤️✂️

It was such an honor to photograph the grand opening of the new home for Links2Success, an organization that pours so much into helping students prepare for college, leadership, and life beyond the classroom. Walking through these moments and seeing students stand confidently beside community leaders, mentors, and supporters was truly inspiring.

As both a photographer and an educator, sessions like this mean so much to me. Behind every smile in these photos is a student with dreams, goals, and potential — and organizations like Links2Success are helping open doors that will change lives for years to come.

Some sessions are beautiful because of the location, the lighting, or the outfits… and then there are sessions like this one that mean so much more. 🤍

I’ve had the honor of watching this sweet girl grow up through school halls, pageants, and life itself. Through every season, she has carried a light that refuses to dim — even in the middle of one of the hardest battles a person can face.

Cancer tried to slow her down, but it never stole her joy, her strength, or that beautiful smile. Watching her fight, overcome, and now closing her senior year is something that is hard to put into words. These photos are more than senior pictures… they are proof of resilience, grace, courage, and a story of victory.

From crowns to cleats, creek water to golden hour, every image feels like a chapter of who she is — strong, soft, fearless, and full of life. Watching her grow into this young woman has been such a privilege, not only as a photographer but as someone who genuinely loves and believes in her.
