These Evening Family Sessions are meant to be simple and low-stress while still capturing this season of life in a genuine way. They’re perfect for families, couples, little ones, or honestly anyone wanting updated photos without committing to a full session.

I especially love these shorter evening sessions for younger kids because there’s a little more room to move around, play, and just let moments happen naturally haha.

These sessions will take place at Hague Nature Haven in Noblesville, which has some of the prettiest evening light this time of year ✨

Happy International Heritage Breeds Week 🤍

Some people in the livestock world leave a lasting mark on you, and for me, Callene and Eric at The Rare Hare Barn are absolutely those people. Somehow I’ve known Callene for nearly 10 years now, which honestly feels crazy to say out loud, haha!

Over the years they’ve helped me with everything from crazy photoshoots, to letting some of my images be published in their cow book, to sharing knowledge that only comes from years in livestock. Through thick and thin, sickness and health, good weather and bad, they’ve continued doing the work and caring deeply about these animals.

The Rare Hare Barn is home to Pineywoods cattle, Arapawa goats, American Rabbits, American Chinchilla rabbits, chickens, horses, and more. Heritage breeds survive because people like Callene and Eric dedicate their lives to preserving them, and I’m incredibly thankful for all the support and friendship they’ve shown me over the years.

They believe in me and I believe in them 🤍

I’m excited to finally open a few Evening Family Sessions for late May and early June! 🤍

These are shorter, relaxed sessions meant for updated family photos, couples, or little ones that may not make it through a full session.

My goal is always to keep things simple and low-stress while capturing moments of joy!

Each session includes:
• Up to 30 minutes
• 15 edited digital images
• Online gallery delivery

Sessions are available on:
• May 28
• May 30
• June 2

Have you been to Woolly Yak Ranch & Winery in Arcadia, IN? They’re local to me, and I’ve had the chance to visit a few times since they opened to the public last year!

It’s such a neat place to spend an afternoon. You can visit their yaks, sheep, and hogs, try their wine, and wander their beautiful property. There’s always something interesting to see out there.

I was also lucky enough to stop by on a day they were collecting fiber from the yaks, which was really cool to watch and something you definitely don’t see every day!

If you haven’t been yet, they’re worth checking out!

This Pineywoods heifer is from The Rare Hare Barn, and she was so fun to photograph and is still one of my favourite photos.

There is something about sitting with the cows as the sun rises over the horizon!

I’ve known Kylie since we were just kids, so it was really exciting that she asked me to help get some updated photos for her business!

It’s always special getting to watch good people build something of their own.

Hi all!
I am working on a photography project centered around livestock on the Conservation Priority List and am looking for farms that might be interested.
I’m based in Indiana and will be focusing mainly on Indiana and the surrounding states. The goal is to photograph these animals on your farm, along with the people caring for them.
