I'm setting aside October 3rd and 4th for quick, cozy sessions with one location west of Arapahoe (exact location TBD) and one location east (think Elm Creek or Kearney). So wherever you're coming from, there's a spot close to home.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗹𝗱.

That's how new she was. Still curled the way she was curled inside her mama. Still making those little newborn noises that don't last more than a few weeks.

Newborn photos aren't really about the posing. They're about a week you don't get back. Milk lips. Wrinkled fingers. Dark, feathery hair that's going to fall out and grow back in a different color entirely. The weight of her asleep on your chest at three in the morning while the whole house is quiet.

You will always remember loving her. You won't remember exactly what she looked like. That's what these are for.

Most mamas reach out somewhere in the second trimester, before the nursery is finished and before the tired sets in. If you're due this fall or winter, here's where I stand today:
