First I want to start by saying thank you to everyone that has supported me along this journey. I started photography back in 2013 not knowing where I would end up. Something that was once a hobby to help make people feel beautiful grew into a business that took me all over the world. I met some of the greatest people and learned a lot about myself. It came with a lot of tears and many moments where I wanted to give up. I have loved this business and journey that got me here. When I found out I was pregnant with my son in 2023 I had the sudden urge to hang up my camera. It didn't make a lot of sense because for 10 years photography had become a part of who I was. Without my business I didn't know who I was as a person. This couldn't be from the Lord because we were about to have a baby. Dru and I talked about it and I decided not to let it go just yet. I needed more time to pray and really feel like I was hearing from the Lord. As 2025 comes to a close I know that leaving Portraits By Peyton behind is the right decision for me. I am at peace and although I can't completely see what is next I know God is in the details. Of course I am a creative and that never goes away so there will be times that I will still create but I will no longer be taking on any new clients. Thanks again for all your love and support. I pray you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!🫶🏽

It’s been a while since we’ve all been in front of the camera together. This land holds so many memories, and I wanted these photos to capture that — the feeling of home. We don’t have everyone together as much anymore, so when we do, it means a little extra.

The moment I saw Jesse, I knew he needed to be in front of my lens. His style was impeccable, and he effortlessly owned the space the second he walked in. Modeling agencies… you might want to sn**ch him up.

In 2023, I was asked to photograph an elopement—and just recently, I found myself thinking back on that memory. Life looks a little different now. I’m in a new season, doing less travel, slowing down a bit. That trip feels like a lifetime ago, and it’s wild how much can change in such a short time. But it had me thinking.

Whatever your dream is, don’t stop chasing it. I never thought I’d have the chance to travel to Ireland and photograph an elopement—but there I was, standing on the cliffs, witnessing something truly special. It reminded me that doors can open in ways we never expect. Keep showing up, keep saying yes—you never know where your dream might lead.
