A magical day with Elizabeth and Tony at St. James🥂 Could not think of a venue more fitting for their black/white/gold themed day, with vintage touches and an emphasis on their big Italian families. From the first course of delicious pasta all the way to the late night gelato (and an Italian cookie table), these two made sure their guests were well fed the Italian way. We wish these two all the happiness as they land into Rome on their European honeymoon! Congrats again you two! ✨ Here’s a few previews of their day!

Flower gardening is right around the corner! I tried to be ambitious and learn indoor seed starting this year, attempting some specialty zinnia varieties— but had 0% success rate after two different trials 🤣 Needless to say outdoor planting is much more my speed! So this third season I’ll be all-in on my usual dahlia (unless I mess that up too 🤭) After last year’s rough season, fingers are crossed for better weather conditions and an abundant season to come later this summer! In the meantime, I’ll happily admire all the incredible wedding florals 🌸🤤… they make it look so easy!

Emma & Matt’s day played around with not only color (greens and blues that matched their Milwaukee lakefront surroundings) but also patterns! Green floral plates added a touch of nature and romance🌱, while the blue geo & stripe linens brought in some modern personality in the art museum. Overall the combination of textures created a stunning visual display to the otherwise blank space 🤍!

I know I talk about value-adds a lot, and with design—a little can go a long way! Never underestimate the power of a linen (or pattern) to totally transform a space or vibe :)!

Kicked off wedding season with Marisa & Bob’s fun-filled springtime country club wedding this past weekend!

Marisa loves pink! 💕 And loves to be creative, so she designed many personal touches throughout the day, including the invitations, bar signs, matches, napkins, and french fry containers for late night food.

Their wedding took place on the 1 year anniversary of their first date, and their ceremony location St Rita Church was extra special to them. Not only was it where Marisa’s grandparents were married, it also became where Bob proposed!💍

Other fun pops of pink made their appearance in table linens, Marisa’s shoes, and a late night outfit change for Bob into a pink velvet suit jacket.

We absolutely loved all the fun and special touches and wish these two newlyweds all the best!🥂 Here’s a few sneak peeks!
