✨ A Little Photography Business Update for 2027! ✨
As we get closer to 2027, I wanted to share a few exciting changes that will be happening with my photography business! 🤍
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that going into the new year, I’m going to be slowing things down a little bit and taking on fewer sessions.
Photography has been such a huge part of my life, and I am beyond grateful for every single person who has trusted me to capture their special moments over the years. However, as life continues to grow and change, I’ve realized how important it is to find a better balance between doing what I love and making more time for my own family, memories, and adventures. 🤍
But don’t worry, I’m NOT going anywhere! 📸
In fact, going into 2027, I’m really excited to shift my focus toward the types of photography that hold a special place in my heart!

🤍 Weddings
From those tiny newborn details to the giggles, growing personalities, and all the little milestones in between, these are the moments I want to focus more of my time and creativity on capturing!
And here’s another exciting announcement… WEDDINGS ARE BACK! 💍🤍
After taking some time away from booking weddings, I’ve decided to start accepting them again in 2027! However, to keep that healthy balance I’m working toward, I will only be accepting FIVE weddings per year!
Weddings have always held a special place in my heart, and I’m excited to get back to capturing those beautiful love stories, happy tears, and once-in-a-lifetime moments. With only five spots available, I’ll be keeping my wedding calendar very limited!
With that being said, there will also be a few changes starting in 2027:
✨ I will no longer be offering extended family sessions or senior sessions.
However, for my family, friends, and returning clients, please don’t hesitate to reach out! These are sessions I may still be willing to take on depending on my availability. 🤍
✨ Bo***ir sessions will no longer be available for individual bookings. Moving forward, bo***ir will ONLY be offered during my scheduled bo***ir mini-session events!
✨ My main focus will be newborns, families, kiddos, milestones, and a limited number of weddings each year!
✨ And YES, I will absolutely still be welcoming NEW clients along with all my wonderful returning families!
🚨A little note about gift certificates and previously purchased sessions! 🚨
If you have previously purchased or received a gift certificate, prepaid session, or anything along those lines for one of the session types I will no longer be regularly offering, please don’t worry! I will absolutely still be honoring those! I never want anyone to feel like something they’ve already purchased or been gifted is going to waste. Just reach out to me, and we can work together on getting your session scheduled! 🤍
I want to make it very clear that slowing down doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from photography or closing my books! It simply means being a little more intentional about the sessions I take on and the time I dedicate to them.
As photographers, we spend so much of our time capturing everyone else’s memories, and sometimes we need to remind ourselves to slow down and create those same memories with our own families. 🥹🤍
To everyone who has supported my little business, whether you’ve booked one session or have been coming to me for years, THANK YOU. You have allowed me to turn something I love into something so special, and I will never take that for granted.
Here’s to a slower, more intentional 2027, filled with sweet newborn snuggles, family giggles, growing kiddos, beautiful milestones, love stories, and making memories both behind the camera and in front of it. 🤍
