New on the Blog: A Golden Hour Legacy at Kraft Azalea Garden ✨

There is something so profound about documenting a family in this specific "in-between" season. This night with Ava, Nolan, and big-brother-to-be Lochlan felt like witnessing a legacy in the making.

This session wasn’t just about the glowy Orlando light or the blooming flowers at Kraft Azalea (although those are added bonuses! 😉)it was about capturing the established rhythm of a family of three just before everything changes in the most beautiful way.

From their college roots in New York to building a life here in Florida, Ava and Nolan’s story is such a testament to intentional love. Seeing Lochlan proudly love on his mama’s growing belly reminded me exactly why I do this: these aren't just photos for today; they are the first pages of a new chapter in their family history.

I hid behind a cypress tree.
She had zero idea.
He absolutely nailed it. ☺️

Austin told Katie they were headed to a fancy dinner in Winter Park — but first, a “quick walk” through the park. She later told me she was so confused why that walk was suddenly so important. 🥹

7 years together. High school sweethearts from Minnesota. College in North Carolina. A big move to Florida in August for his first year at UCF medical school. And now… fiancé and fiancée. 💍

Katie’s reaction was pure shock and the sweetest tears. The GLOW that night was unreal, but their joy was even better. ✨✨

These are the moments I never get tired of capturing.

I spent my Friday night hiding behind a cypress tree at Kraft Azalea Garden, and it was worth every second to see Katie’s face when Austin dropped to one knee!

Spent the dreamiest morning at Kraft Azalea Garden with Cami and Wyatt! ✨

There is something so timeless about these giant cypress trees and the classic Winter Park views. The perfect backdrop for these two to just soak in being engaged.
