For the past 16 years, this page has been where I’ve shared my professional portrait work and a big part of my photography journey.

Lately, I’ve been going back through some of my earliest photos. Work I never shared. Moments from places like Okinawa back in 2007 when I first picked up a DSLR.

That process made me realize something.

I want to focus fully on that side of photography moving forward. The personal work. The stories. The progression over time.

Because of that, I won’t be maintaining this page going forward.

But behind the scenes, I’ve been shooting a lot more than that.

Travel, street, landscapes… moments from different places and different years that I never really shared anywhere.

So I’m making a shift.

Going forward, this page will be dedicated entirely to this side of my photography. The personal work. The moments. The places.

I’m starting at the beginning with a photo from Okinawa, Japan around 2007, when I picked up my first DSLR.

There’s a lot I’ve never posted before.

Feels like the right time to finally share it.

Early mornings in Tennessee are so amazing out in the country. This picture from a visit back in 2008. I woke up early to a stunning sunrise and fog… so yeah, I grabbed my camera and went for a walk in it and enjoyed. As many of these travel pics have been, this is another that I never shared until now. Glad to have a space to share and show some of the fun I’ve had with my camera over the many years I’ve been shooting ☺️

This!!! This is why I absolutely LOVE photography! Capturing amazing moments like this. Such an EPIC session with Josh & his beautiful wife Terlize, I'll share more as I edit a few and make a small album. For now... one small peek ;)
