New clients reached out to me for a mini session for updated holiday cards. I met Zazu (13) and Garbanzo (2) and asked mom their ages and I knew I would be getting more than a few family holiday photos. I love these sessions and love even more how meaningful the photos are.

"We love them, they turned out SO good. The photos of Carl and Zazu are perfect — he’s had her since she was a few weeks old, and now she’s about to be 13. I’m so glad we got some super special photos of them."

Happy National Dog Day! Ellie and Murphy are not easy photography subjects. Ellie hates my camera and will try to hide when she sees it in my hand (too many years of practicing on her has made her camera shy). Murphy doesn't know sit or stay and just wants to follow me around the yard. With a little patience and quite a few pepperonis these 2 did such a great job and I even captured Ellie's helicopter ears 🥰 Love these 2 dogs so much.

Earlier this summer I had an end of life photo session for this sweet girl Cali in her backyard. Cali had terminal cancer and her mom and dad wanted some forever memories of their favorite girl. It was a hot morning but we made the best of our time with lots of water breaks and Cali was even feeling up for a few tennis ball fetches. Cali was so loved by her family and I'm so grateful that I was able to capture this family bond before they had to say goodbye.

If you haven't been to the new Downtown Cary Park, then you must check it out. I had my first photo session there before Christmas and it's such a beautiful park. There are quite a few spots that urge you to be in the moment and take in your surroundings. Definitely a great location for photos.
