This photo took 10 years, and 14 trips to Door County to find the perfect night. Galactic Horizon is a 9-photo panoramic of the night sky over Cave Point County Park. The photo covers a 180-degree view directly overhead, making both the left and right sides ground level. The photograph was chosen as an Official Selection in the 2024 International Photography Awards, for Non-Professional, Special Photography: Panorama / Panoramic.
