I am a natural light family, couples, and wedding photographer. I currently live in Utah but travel VERY frequently to the Portland, Oregon area as well as Boise, Idaho. And I am VERY OPEN to traveling anywhere. I am married to the cutest man living named Jordan and we both agree that family ALWAYS come first. I'm a weirdo at heart and the more I know you, the crazier I get. I am a people lover to

the core and love finding the natural beauty that every single human possesses. I am also one of those creepy dog lovers. I love them like they are people. I love apples. I love cookies. And in my spare time I am either singing at the top of my lungs to my favorite tunes, working out, enjoying the outdoors, or watching Parenthood. My belly may be a little bigger now than when we took this picture BUT this girl is feeling almost 37 weeks!! It’s the home stretch + I’m getting so anxious to meet our little human! I think this month has definitely been the hardest not knowing if we’re having a boy or girl. I want to get everything ready + don’t know what to prepare for! If this baby comes early like their siblings…we’re less than 2 weeks away! My gut says it’s a girl but lately I’ve been second guessing myself! Leave your guesses below….👇 💙💗💙💗

Treasuring the time I have with just these two kiddos. Soon we’ll be adding another little human to the mix + as excited as I am…there’s a part of me that will miss this season of our party of four. Pregnancy brings out all the emotions in me. But I keep remembering how much I loved adding our cute Halle to the mix + I can’t ever imagine our family without her!! The kids are so excited + it’s gonna be here before we know it! Wes keeps telling me if it hurts he’ll be there to hold my hand the whole time ♥️ But the question still is…BOY or GIRL??? 33 weeks tomorrow!

He may not plan elaborate dates or bring me roses on every special occasion. He may not buy me expensive gifts or enjoy going out to restaurants. He may not love dogs as much as me + still would choose to buy everything from a thrift store.

BUT all those things don’t seem to matter at all when compared to all he does do. He serves + helps me every single day. He asks me to dance in the kitchen when I’m doing the dishes. He’s the most hands on dad + does all he can for us even after a long day at work. And as cheesy as it sounds whenever I look in his eyes I feel this overwhelming feeling of safety. I know he would do anything in the world for me + loves me more than I could ever comprehend. I love that I see a side of him so few see + you literally make me the happiest.

I love this man with my whole heart + whatever comes our way, I’m so lucky he’s by my side. I love the life we’ve built. Ups + downs. Happy + sad times. I’ll still love you forever + ever Jobin! Eight years down, forever to go 🖤

All my life I pictured having daughters. Girls to play barbies with, dress up, do crafts with, + who will watch Anne of Green Gables with me. When I found out my first baby was a boy I wasn’t sure how I felt! I obviously was beyond happy but I didn’t know if I would be a good “boy mom” ;)

The day they put my little Wesley buns in my arms, my heart filled in a way I never imagined. He has been my best buddy on days I felt so alone. He’s made me laugh harder than I ever laughed before. He’s tested my patience then immediately makes me want to squeeze him so tight cuz I love him so much. He’s my morning snuggles + kisses on the cheek. He’s always dancin + playing music…always the life of the party. His smile + big brown eyes melt my heart whenever he looks at me. He loves being around people + making them laugh. He’s always thinking of others + always likes to make sure everyone he’s with is taken care of!

There were many days it was just us two. Beach days, running around the island in the jogging stroller, hanging out in the Nordstrom mothers lounge to escape the Hawaii heat, lots + lots of car drives to get you to sleep, figuring out how to be a mom with you was a new experience every day. I will FOREVER thank God for gifting me this special little man in my life. Being your mom has been my favorite role. And it just keeps getting better + better. Happy FOURTH Birthday!!Your dad + I love you Wes one hundred million much 🖤

A couple of nights ago I came across my first couples session EVERRRR. Like we’re talking right after my nature photography class that I took to learn how to use a camera. Let me tell you, it was all things special! I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I used poses that weren’t natural at all. I hardly ever had my clients in focus. I used filters from iPhoto (ahhhhh!!!!!). Struggle!!⠀

This is not saying my models (aka my roommate and her fiancé) made the photos bad by any means. They are drop dead sexy!! Just me saying WE ALL START SOMEWHERE. ⠀

I took a leap. It was absolutely terrifying. But I enjoyed my nature photography class SO MUCH I wanted it to be my job. I had to spend hours and hours teaching myself how to use my camera, edit my photos, pose clients, start a website, become an official business...it took and continues to take TIME. Looking back makes me so grateful for the journey and gives me all the motivation to keep learning + growing!⠀

I used to hate posting more than once a day, but sometimes more posts at a time tell the story so much better! Grateful for clients that trust me to capture their lives. In all the different seasons. Corona put a damper on a lot of my shoots this summer BUT know I am more than ready to make some magic with you guys! ;)

Freakin CUTEST. I’ve updated my editing a little with these photos. Are we feelin it? Because I sure am. Adjusting to different locations + backgrounds can change edits so much so I LOVE when I find something that fits perfectly! Do you like the warm tones in photos or cooler ones?
