Cue the Tears.

Ellie & Andrews wedding was so special to me- and very bittersweet as it was the last in a trifecta of wedding days that I got to capture within the best group of friends 🤍 Friends that invite each others parents (and those parents greet me as though I’m apart of their family after capturing their sons & daughters big days), that make up the bridal parties and tear down the dance floor. I am so lucky.
When the CLINERS asked me to be their wedding photographer I was over the freaking moon. They are the definition of real, good, down to earth people with the sense of humor to back it up! Not only did I get to work with these amazing humans who feel like friends, AND all of my past brides, grooms and their families…I got to play with the most beautiful details (if you know you know how obsessed I am), AND the sunset to end all sunsets. What a day. CHEERS TO MR & MRS CLINER 🥂👏🏼🏌️

MR & MRS STORY 🥂✨

Sami & Keshaun had the most stunning wedding day at Redeemed Farm 🍃 Picture butterflies floating by, the sunlight pouring through white fluffy clouds, an August breeze scented with hydrangeas… And two best friends meeting at the end of an isle, lined with their family and friends. What a beautiful day!!
These two made my job as a wedding photographer easy; from the way they looked at each other all night (swoon!!) to the 10/10 suit & dress choices, let’s just say my camera got its workout in 🤌🏼

MR & MRS HOOEY 🥂👏🏼✨

There is one thing that stands out to me the most about Emily & Noah’s wedding at Abella Weddings & Events. And that is the sheer amount of intention, care and love that this bride and groom poured into each & every corner of their wedding day. My first clue that this was going to be the kind of wedding day that overflows with love, was in the morning when Emily presented her mother with a replica of mom’s bouquet from HER wedding day. Are you joking?! 😭😭 This was the first of so many little ways that the Hooey’s chose to make everyone around them feel special, loved and seen. Each and every guest (all 170 of them) received a hand written letter from the bride and groom at diner, and if you were an engaged guest, you also got your own personal mini-bottle of Champaign with a ribbon that said “You’re Next!”🥂! And even though Emily & Noah’s favorite furry guest could not attend, Scout was well-represented all throughout their day. On the sine-age, the custom stickers, the temporary tattoos of his face, in the invitation suite, he even had his own personal card-board-cut-out and custom tennis balls for guests to take home to their own pups.

If the details in this beautiful wedding day told me anything, it is how incredible kind, thoughtful and loving these two are. What a stunning day, I feel so lucky to have been apart of it!! CHEERS TO THE HOOEYS 🥂✨

The First Look | Chapter 2

There are two moments of any wedding day that are guaranteed to be the most memorable. One of them is the first look, the other is the ceremony. Sara & Matt’s first look was one I will remember for a long time. Matt’s nerves and excitement to see his bride were with his heart on his sleeve, and Sara was so eager to see her groom the girl almost forgot her veil.
The genuine *awe* and almost disbelief on Matt’s face when he turned to see Sara was so evident, he may have well won the lottery (he did 🤍).
“But I don’t want to do a first look because I want that big emotional moment to happen at our ceremony! If we do a first look, our ceremony it won’t be as special” ….I talk with my couple through this fear a lot. And I can definitely make a dedicated post about this if y’all want me to! But if you need to know that your ceremony will be still be just as -if not more- special, emotional and magical AFTER your first look, I’ve included the last photo for proof that it will be.

SARA & MATT IN MEXICO : Chapter 1 🏝️

So I’m going to back up to about four years ago when I met Sara who was a personal attendant for one of my brides! I clicked with her so fast and before I left the wedding that day I told her to let me know when she gets a ring on that finger cause I was going to photograph her wedding!! Well. Fast forward to last week and mission accomplished 😎
Sara- the sweet, kind hearted, hilariously funny, smart as a whip little firecracker that she is- COULD NOT have locked down a better man. Matt is truly the most upstanding human being, and compliments her in the most beautiful way.. I’m going to gush over them way more in their ceremony post (ya didn’t see it here because yes, it deserves its own 20-page post mmkay 🫸🏼😮‍💨….there will also be a dedicated first look and reception post 🤪 sue me.).
To sum up- I am so incredibly lucky to have met them. And their choice of a destination wedding In Mexico really was the perfect place to smush all of their closest family and friends together (which was a blast by the way, the pool bartenders hated to see us coming 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻)!!

ANYWAY I’ve got to save stuff to say for posts 2 & 3 so without further ado… CHEERS TO THE PELLETIERS 🥂🍾
