I have a 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. opening on August 28 at Green Spring Gardens for a Petite Family Session. If you are interested, please message me! I start school Monday, and I am hoping we know more about kid commitments by Labor Day so I'll announce my very limited mini sessions then. This is such a pretty location if anyone wants to sneak in before my 6:45 p.m. session begins.

I have a date booked for tree farm minis, but I won't be releasing my mini schedule until late this year... I need a better handle on what life will be looking like with three new schools and I need my youngest's soccer schedule. I love going to those games, and I don't want to miss those moments! Minis this year will be VERY limited. Most likely just three or four dates -- tree farms, sunrise National Mall, and something else TBD. I can do a few weekday evening sessions before school starts (August 17) if anyone is interested!

Hi everyone! I'm on a silent retreat for my Ignatian spiritual direction certificate until Monday, June 29. I'll respond to messages then. If you have anything you want me to pray for, even a special intention, drop it below!

I am still booking summer sessions but not booking anything for the fall yet (unless it's a wedding or wedding related) until I have a better handle on the schedules for our family this fall. I will be doing tree farm minis and a few others, but spots will be limited and I'm not going to schedule anything till I know everyone's schedules. All three kids are entering new schools so this fall is a time of transition for us!

It's hard to believe but TEN YEARS ago today I had my first paid shoot for TCJ Design. It was a newborn session for a co-worker of my husband. Today, TCJ Design is slowing a bit down. Days are filled with soccer and baseball practices and games, piano recitals, theatre events, and nights singing around the fire pit. I wouldn't have it any other way. So if you want a session this year, reach out soon. I'm mostly doing weekday evenings this summer, I think. I'm not sure what my fall life will look like with this girl graduating from eighth grade tomorrow and heading off to high school in the fall. I'm not closing the doors, but I'm hitting the pause button until I know what life looks like in this new stage.

And I couldn't resist...I had to share a few more tonight. Breaking the algorithm rules.
