Blue Angels - Commissioning Week 2026.

They're only here for a few days so I try to make the best of it when the opportunity arises. This year "Fat Albert", the C-130J Hercules was undergoing maintenance, so the Marines decided to bring out an F-35B Lightning II. To say I was impressed with that plane is an understatement. Seeing videos of this plane just doesn't do it justice. This variant has what's know as VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing), no runway required. It can also just hover in the air 🤯.

As always the Blue Angels put on a great show, and I don't have much to say other than that!

I'm in the process of setting up a website to showcase my work outside of just using Facebook. It's currently very much a work in progress. I'm hoping to include a shop for things like the Christmas cards, slates, etc.. and eventually print ordering. I'm also entertaining the idea of trying to put together some 1:1 type learning/training sessions.

We've had quite a lot of fog lately, so I decided to go back out to that dilapidated house to see how that looked. Took about 50 shots, after review this was the only one I felt really worked. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Not something you see everyday. I was down at Jonas and Anne Catherine Green park yesterday morning when 3-4 fully loaded F-16's flew over followed by what appears to be a 757. Pictures aren’t the best since I heard them first then finally found them.

Went out to Spriggs Farm Park and shot some pictures of the dilapidated farm house. Not sure if there's any plans for this place, I know they've refurbished the kayak/canoe launch area and entrance gate, so maybe?
