Been holding off posting this til I had a chance to review the images I took with my camera. Turns out I like this phone shot/edit of this composition more than my camera shots.

This was taken from Bear Mountain Bridge scenic overlook at Bear Mountain State Park. I decided to hike up here from the bottom thinking 1.4 miles didn’t seem like much, i do that pretty regularly. Boy was I humbled quickly. It’s a ton (way more than I’m used to anyway) of elevation gain in that 1.4 miles and it’s mostly stairs. Many breaks later I finally made it. Well worth the effort. I’ll drive up next time!

One of the things I've been doing in my hiatus from this page is working with off camera flash. Here's some dance shots of my girls. Still have a lot to learn but I'm enjoying it so far.

Let’s see how much the algorithm dislikes me after not posting for a while.

I took and edited this photo on my phone on a recent trip to New York. This was taken at the Rockefeller Lookout on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.

Blue Angels - Commissioning Week 2026.

They're only here for a few days so I try to make the best of it when the opportunity arises. This year "Fat Albert", the C-130J Hercules was undergoing maintenance, so the Marines decided to bring out an F-35B Lightning II. To say I was impressed with that plane is an understatement. Seeing videos of this plane just doesn't do it justice. This variant has what's know as VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing), no runway required. It can also just hover in the air 🤯.

As always the Blue Angels put on a great show, and I don't have much to say other than that!

I'm hoping to get some more portrait shoots under my belt this year. Last year I had a backyard wedding, a vow renewal and several family shoots.

I'm hoping to include a shop for things like the Christmas cards, slates, etc.. and eventually print ordering. I'm also entertaining the idea of trying to put together some 1:1 type learning/training sessions.
