Can we talk about how fun (and lowkey stressful) it is to choose your wedding flowers?

You think it’s just picking a color palette—until you're suddenly asking yourself: “Will these colors actually go with the space? Will it feel like us? What if I regret it later?”

It’s one of those details that carries more weight than people realize. Flowers set the tone in the moment—and later, they live on in your photos. The color, the texture, the way they frame a moment… it all becomes part of how you remember your day.

And if you’re still deciding between peonies or ranunculus, just know this: you’ll probably forget the stress, but the feeling they bring to your day will stay with you—forever in photos, and sometimes, even in scent.

She is the moment.
There’s something timeless about soft florals, quiet glances, and romantic silhouettes that take your breath away.
A vision of elegance wrapped in light, grace, and femininity.

Photographing this ethereal bridal look felt like stepping into a painting—delicate textures, billowing sleeves, and a setting that whispers stories of love and beauty.

It’s in the stillness, the softness, the way she holds the bouquet like it’s a part of her story.

For the bride who dreams of something whimsical, refined, and deeply romantic—this is for you!

Captured with soul, always. 🤍

✨ My Journey into Film Photography ✨

Last year, I took a leap and bought my first-ever film camera. After second-shooting for some of the most incredible wedding photographers—whose film work I admire—I knew I had to try it myself.

At first, it felt so unfamiliar. I’m used to the instant gratification of digital, but with film, everything slowed down. I had to be intentional, trust my instincts, and embrace the unknown. I learned to load a roll, work with light differently, and focus with precision.

With the guidance of Luis, who has more experience with cameras, I started bringing my film camera everywhere—especially to weddings. I’d ask my couples if they’d trust me with a few film shots (always having my digital camera with me!). Their trust, along with Luis covering the safe shots, gave me the freedom to experiment. I became hands-on, capturing moments on film, playing with light and storytelling in a whole new way.

I treated my film rolls like precious gems, carefully storing them—but I kept delaying sending them to the lab. Part of me was excited, but another part hesitated—what if they didn’t turn out how I hoped? I was so used to the security of digital that the uncertainty of film felt intimidating.

But when I finally got my scans back… I was in love. The tones, the depth, the way film captures light and emotion—it wasn’t perfect, but that’s what made it so special.

Looking back, I wonder why I didn’t start sooner. I used to think film wasn’t for me. I studied digital and documentary photography, worked as a multimedia specialist, and even dabbled in video. But something about film feels different—it’s raw, timeless, and deeply artistic.

Now, I can’t imagine my work without it. Film has taught me to slow down, see light in a new way, and embrace imperfections. And I’m just getting started.

Have you ever taken a leap into something unfamiliar and ended up loving it? That’s exactly how I feel about film. If you’ve shot film, what made you fall in love with it? And if not, what creative thing have you always wanted to try? 🎞✨

Let’s talk engagement sessions… because they’re kind of a game-changer. 😉

Ever thought, “We’re so awkward in front of the camera!” or “We have no idea how to pose!”? Guess what? You’re not alone—we feel the same way when the camera is turned on us!

But here’s the secret: you don’t need to be models to get stunning photos.

Engagement sessions aren’t just about pretty pictures (though, trust me, you’ll get plenty of those!). They’re a low-pressure way to shake off the nerves and feel comfortable before the big day. It’s your chance to:

Get used to being in front of the camera—no awkwardness, no pressure, just you two having fun.
Build a connection with your photographer, so on your wedding day, everything feels easy and effortless.
Find the poses and movements that feel most like you, making your wedding portraits feel authentic and true to your story.

And let’s be real—who doesn’t love an excuse to dress up, pop some champagne, and capture the magic of this season? 🥂

Are you planning an engagement session, or are you still on the fence? Tell me your thoughts below!

Today feels like the perfect spring day, and this morning’s light was absolutely breathtaking! It instantly reminded me of this beautiful coffee engagement session in the heart of DC. 💛 is one of my favorite spots to bring family and friends visiting the city—to sip on a delicious coffee and indulge in their amazing dishes. If you’ve ever contemplated having a coffee engagement session, this charming café is the perfect setting! ☕🥐✨ The cozy atmosphere, stunning light, and Parisian vibes make it truly magical.

Bridal portraits are more than just photos—they are a reflection of a moment, a feeling, a beginning." ✨

There’s something powerful about a bride standing alone, taking in the quiet anticipation before walking down the aisle. The delicate details, the soft movement, the way light wraps around her—it’s not just about capturing how she looks, but how she feels in this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

As photographers, we don’t just document the day; we create timeless portraits that tell the story of who you are in this exact moment—graceful, confident, ready.

A wedding day moves fast, but these portraits? They last forever.

Let’s talk about the GROOM 👏🏼—because his moments matter just as much as the bride’s.

There’s a different kind of anticipation in the air—the deep breath before everything changes, the quiet focus as the suit is buttoned, cufflinks fastened with steady hands. It’s a moment that’s often overlooked, but it carries just as much weight.

That’s why capturing this part of the day should feel effortless, natural, and real. No stiff poses, no forced smiles—just you, fully present, surrounded by the people who matter most.

As a husband-and-wife photography team, we get it. We know how to make you feel comfortable, bring out the best version of you, and document you as you are—right before you step into forever.
