Kassidy Van Der Kamp Photography Hello, I’m Kassidy — a Central Iowa photographer with 15+ years behind the lens. I photograph seniors, families, events, and real life as it happens.

My favorite moments are the ones in between- the peaceful moments, big laughs, and everything in between. I specialize in capturing real-life moments — from the energy of events like graduation parties, birthdays, and community gatherings to the connections shared in family, senior, and kids’ sessions. I also love working with sports and band groups to create images that reflect pride, personality, and team spirit. If it matters to you, it matters to me — and I’m here to help you remember it.

Looking back through this past year has me feeling incredibly grateful for every family, senior, athlete, student, and organization that trusted me with their memories.

From Friday night lights to senior year milestones, school events, family laughs, and everything in between—it's been an honor to tell these stories through my lens.

Last night our 6th through 12th grade bands took the stage and did a wonderful job. It was a beautiful concert but a tough one, too.

Mr. Kellar has been more than a director—he’s been a mentor, a steady presence, and someone our students truly connect with. In just two years, he’s created a culture of pride, growth, and belonging within the band.

We’re heartbroken to see him go, but so thankful for what he’s given to our kids and this program. His impact won’t fade—it will continue in every note played moving forward.

Tonight was more than just a soccer game.
The girls didn’t have enough players for their own team due to some decisions to run just track, so they stepped up and joined the boys—creating something pretty special.

For the first time, girls took the field for Saydel soccer… and my daughter finally got to wear that jersey she’s been waiting years for.

So proud of these kids—and especially these girls—for not giving up on their season!
