Long exposure pictures I took of Lake Superior in Minnesota on vacation in August. This technique can be hard to master but makes a smooth water & sky effect. Also tried a B&W photo as well for a different effect.

Here is another photo of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manning, IA. Stayed after dark and waited for the lights to turn on for the outside of the church. The flood light on the right side wasn't working but the one light still showcased the church in all it's splender! Also, normally I take a seperate picture of the moon to replace the over exposed moon you get at night but liked how the starburst effect I captured goes along with the cross on the steeple.

Was able to finally visit the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manning, IA this past Saturday night. Luckily for me this involved the full moon rising right next to the church after doing some research. 🙂 Beautiful church and great history behind it! Highly recommend the visit and I will be back when I have some more time. Would love to take some photos of the inside.This is one of a few scenes I captured.

Been wanting to get back to the Bridges of Madison County. Last night I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture the full moon rising next to the Hogback Covered Bridge (built 1884)! Lit up the inside of the bridge to show the beautiful construction through it.
