Intentional. That’s the word everyone used to describe Isaak and Lauren’s wedding day, and I couldn’t agree more. It was truly one of the most thoughtful and detail filled weddings I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of.
Every little detail had meaning. From the Margaritaville cocktail hour celebrating her parents’ anniversary, monthly flowers she saved that she got from Izaak, to kid goodie bags assigned to each table, florals that THEY made themselves, sleeves on her wedding dress made from pieces of her moms’ dresses, the cake made by his grandma, a flower girl dress Lauren once wore, and a heart sewn into her wedding dress—I could go on and on about the intentionality woven throughout their entire day. ❤️
Lauren has probably had her dream wedding planned since she was in the womb. She just had to wait for the soulmate who shared her faith, supported her dreams, and was every bit as kind-hearted as she is. Thank goodness for a tailgate where Lauren and Isaak’s paths crossed. 🥹
Lauren always dreamed of getting married in one of her favorite places: Okoboji, where she grew up vacationing with her family. And her wedding day reflected her bubbly, colorful personality perfectly. The Sanders//Wegmanns family sure knows how to throw a party! They rented a party boat, had a live painter, and even surprised their guests with a band. 🎨🪩
These two have the BIGGEST support system of family and friends, and it’s easy to see why. The love and kindness they pour into others has clearly been returned to them tenfold. When last-minute changes meant decorating a venue for 400 people on the actual wedding day, their amazing decorating committee showed up and went to work. Family and friends helped bring Lauren’s vision board to life—building backdrops, helping them do their OWN incredible florals, and taking care of all the little details that made the day so uniquely them.
I’m probably sharing way too many images from this wedding, but honestly…I don’t even care. 😂 It was one of the best days, and my heart is so incredibly full for these two.
Isaak and Lauren, I can’t wait to see all the love, laughter, adventures, and beautiful memories you’ll share in this next chapter. Your wedding day was so perfectly you. 🤍
