I’ve been thinking about this for a while… and I’m finally doing it.

BLACK PETAL WORKSHOP is coming.

This is for the person who has a camera sitting at home and knows there’s more they could be doing with it but has no idea where to start.

I want to teach photography in a way that actually makes sense. No overwhelming technical jargon or making you feel like you should already know everything. Just real, hands-on learning about your camera, lighting, posing, finding good light, shooting in different environments, and developing your own style.

I’ll be teaching what I’ve learned through years of figuring it out, making mistakes, experimenting, and finding my own way behind the camera.

This won’t be about creating photographers who all shoot the same.

I want to help you find YOUR eye.

Pumpkin heads. Black outfits. Fishnets. Boots. Wh***ey. Weird poses. Questionable decisions. The whole thing.
And the final images are getting that gritty, old-film treatment. Heavy grain, deep shadows, muted color and a slightly worn, imperfect texture.
The kind of edit that feels like an old photograph you found tucked away somewhere and probably weren’t supposed to find.

A little eerie.
