Ben Belt Photography Wedding and lifestyle photographer located in the Raleigh, NC area. During 2012 and 2013 Hannah and I were busy planning our “perfect wedding”.

Hannah was focused on all the little details, while I tended to focus on the actual events of the day and the overall picture. At the time, I was attending Rochester Institute of Technology, studying Advertising Photography. My wife Hannah, was working as a Registered Nurse. Hannah wanted to make sure that all of her details and time was well spent, and didn’t go unnoticed. I was put in charge of

searching for someone who would adequately capture every part of our day. Soon, my desire to be that photographer and photograph weddings grew, and Hannah fit perfectly as my assistant/second shooter. Together, we make up Ben Belt Photography and are able to capture all the angles, details and moments of your big day! We are based out of Raleigh, North Carolina- generally covering the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, but we also love traveling to other areas. If you are a bride or groom from upstate New York (Syracuse to Rochester) we’d love to here from you as Hannah and I are hoping to frequent our home towns. We love working with diverse couples who help inspire new and creative ideas. Aside from weddings, we also enjoy planning family photo sessions, and connecting with seniors and models to create powerful photographs. The originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24th, from 12 - 4 PM at the Expo Building at the NC State Fairgrounds has been postponed due to weather. This means more time to spread the word, plan to come meet us, or refer your friends to our booth!

Let's talk about first looks!

In the past few years, 40% of our couples have chosen to do a first look. This intimate moment together provides extra time for photos before the ceremony, which leads to a more relaxed cocktail hour that the bride and groom can join in on.

Another bonus is that we often get more genuine reactions. When there aren't so many others watching, everyone is more comfortable. This lessens the anxiety for the actual ceremony as well!

The details. When you put so much thought and energy into perfecting your wedding day, we want to make sure that every bit of it is documented.

From the barn doors that coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaids dresses, to a stunning bridal gown, beautiful tablecloths and place settings, a horse, the historic barn turned into a gorgeous venue, Krispy Kreme donuts, sunset photos, a t-shirt toss, rings, and sparklers. There was so much more we captured, but these are just a few of those things you don't want to forget!
