To my seniors and recent grads (but also EVERYONE) ❤️ With the November 3rd midterms approaching, now is the time to check your voter registration and make a plan to vote. My daughter realized before the primary that she had fallen off the voting rolls because she’d moved from our home address, so don’t let that happen to you. (She’s since fixed that!)

There’s so much at stake in this election — from the balance of power in Washington and Congress’s responsibility to hold this out-of-control administration accountable, to decisions made by our state and local governments. This election’s impact will be felt not just today, but for generations to come.

At the heart of it all is a fundamental question: Who does our government serve? Working families and everyday Americans, or the billionaire class that is currently reaping the most benefits from this Administration’s decisions?

I know many of you are already paying attention and care deeply about what’s happening, so please make sure your voice is heard. And if early voting is available where you live, take advantage of it. Life happens, and you never know what might come up on Election Day. I’m deeply concerned about efforts to restrict voting access, and we need record-breaking turnout this November.

Ella brought her cello to her session and it’s one of my favorite things that’s happened at a shoot. She played for a few minutes in that golden light and I was fully serenaded — no complaints here!

Class of 2027, my summer is fully booked and if you are an AHS senior I have only 1 or 2 dates left in September that are early enough to make your yearbook deadline so don’t wait another minute. If your yearbook deadline isn’t a concern, I’ve just opened my October calendar!

The best senior sessions are the ones that feel authentic to the senior. For Sam, that meant incorporating dance into her portraits. She had a clear vision for what she wanted, and I love how these came together.

Andover High School seniors: If you’re hoping for a Fall session, don’t wait to book. The yearbook deadline is October 1, and while we always hope for beautiful September weather, a rain date can make it difficult to find another opening before the deadline. Amelia at Stevens Coolidge Place in North Andover — late June, peak roses, golden hour in the meadow. She’s a dancer, brought her pointe shoes, and I loved everything about this session. 🌸

✨ 2027 seniors — late Spring and Early Summer is the perfect time for your session. Beautiful light, gorgeous locations, and none of the summer heat. I just opened my calendar for May, June, and early July. (I’m not taking sessions in April due to family commitments.) Fall availability goes fast, so don’t wait.

It’s been almost a month since I photographed this session. Between summer fun and a full shooting schedule, things have been busy! If I’ve photographed you recently, you’ll likely you’ll get your proofing gallery before you see a peek up here, but I have lots of fun sessions that will (hopefully!) get posted here eventually.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I’m heading to the beach and plan to do some floating in the ocean to wind down a bit before sessions every day this week and a huge pile of editing and album designing. Stay cool this week! ☀️🏖️
