Some of my favorites from beautiful June Bug's Celebration of Life Session earlier this month🧡 The nature of these sessions can feel pretty heavy, but with Juney, it was truly an uplifting experience. She was just SO energized and elated to have a morning surrounded by her loving parents and Grandparents. She knew we were there for her and that resulted in some of my very favorite pictures to date, especially the action shots in the woods! I'm always immensely grateful to be a part of these sessions and to meet such sweet families like this one. Please continue to keep Juney and her family in your thoughts and send them much love and light🙏🏼✨

January 6th, 2013, I brought my Jackie girl—the inspawration behind Paws to Reflect—home from the shelter. To commemorate her 12th Gotcha Day, I captured a couple of pictures of Miss Mags while on my break. It figures it would snow on Jack’s day🥲 swipe for pics of Jackie from 2020 & 2021🧡♾️🤍

As I look back on this year, I am overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude. For some families, I captured milestone moments and for others, I captured the last moments they shared with their soul pets. It’s a tremendous honor and privilege to bear witness to such unconditional love and I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me to take these photos for you. I hope they provide you with much comfort and please know providing these services for you is cathartic for me as I do everything I do in memory of my soul pup, my Jackie🧡 Sending you all much love and light in 2025 and beyond✨ - Teresa

Birthday Celebration of Life Session: HAU’OLI🌺

Born on Pearl Harbor Day (12/7) and rescued from Hawaii, this beautiful senior girl’s name is Hawaiian for “happy” and it so perfectly suits her. Just look at her vibrant energy shining through☺️

Hau’oli, affectionately nicknamed “Oli”, is her mom’s soul pup, and when she contacted me for photos, the stars aligned for the session to take place on Oli’s 12th birthday. It was a blistering cold day in NJ that afternoon, but as I went through the photos, all I could feel was warmth radiating from them. The bond shared between Oli and her mom is so powerful. Just the way they look at one another, you can tell they’re having conversations without the use of words.

It was an absolute privilege to capture this milestone, witness their unconditional love and be a small part of this wonderful girl’s big day. Please send all the love, light and aloha to Oli, and wish her many, many more happy and healthy birthdays to come🧡✨

This Thanksgiving, I am feeling extra grateful for the beautiful sessions captured this year, and also extremely humbled to have the privilege of capturing half a dozen Celebration of Life Sessions since August. While Paws to Reflect Photography is not my bread and butter, it is my passion, and the ability to share this passion with others, and connect through the shared love we have for our beloved fur babies is nothing short of magical. Thank you for trusting in me and for also sharing so much with me. Wishing you all a healthy and happy Thanksgiving🧡🫶🏼🧡
