Welcome to Dear native grapes,. We’re a vineyard and w**ery outside Walton, NY, on a quiet mountain hollow, with a mission: to uplift America’s forgotten w**e grapes. My wife Deanna Urciuoli and I grow heritage grape varieties that were nearly lost during Prohibition, along with newer grapes suited to our changing climate.

Our passion started about ten years ago, digging into the history of these resilient and flavorful American grapes. After years of saving, we planted our 7-acre vineyard in 2020, now home to over 30 nearly-extinct heritage varieties. Our goal isn’t just to make exceptional natural w**es, it’s to show others how they can help reclaim these remarkable grapes.

In 2025, we opened our tasting room, welcoming our community to taste, learn, and enjoy the beauty of the Catskills. Every weekend we host local food pop-ups and offer a pantry stocked with local products, many from fellow Pure Catskills members.
Our tasting room is open Saturdays, and we host workshops, live music, and seasonal events. Check our website for upcoming pop-ups and activities.
