Had the most fun capturing maternity photos for these sweet friends- look how cute these two are! 😍 They even brought "Mom & Dad" Starbucks drinks. You guys are going to be amazing parents! Congrats & thanks for spending this chilly but beautiful fall day with me!

Had the joy of capturing this super sweet Place Family this Sunday!

So sweet they let me reschedule twice due to baby making me horribly sick during my first trimester 😅. Thank you all for letting me capture your sweet selves, here's a little sneak peak. Can't wait to get the rest out to you!

It may be nearing the end of January 2021, but I don't think its too late to celebrate some good things from 2020. I may have decided I didn't think I could continue doing photography last year but, but all of YOU showed up and helped me remember why I started pursuing this passion to begin with. Thank you all for allowing me to capture your wins and your togetherness in a year where those things sometimes felt few and far between. Each of you gave me hope and helped spur my passion to pick my camera back up and keep working towards capturing the moments that deserve to be cherished and remembered.

I am currently in transition with my nursing career but hope to return to more to photography work soon. Thank you all for continued support! 💓

Yesterday I had the honor of capturing the wedding of a sweet friend I met in nursing school. Katie and her husband, Blake, are such warm and kind-hearted people and their wedding day was full of laughter, smiles, and tears of joy. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Uberto, thank you for letting me capture your special day!

Had such a great morning with this gorgeous senior and her sweet grandmother. Maddie is already taking college courses and is working hard to reach her goal of being a nurse/nurse practitioner some day. This girl has a bright future ahead of her, congrats on your senior year Maddie! ☀️

Hey, friends.

I am writing this to tell you that I am closing Marissa Daeger Photography starting Oct. 1st for an undetermined amount of time at this point, and I am currently not accepting new sessions. I have enjoyed so much getting to glimpse into your lives and capture each moment you have allowed me. It has been an honor and a blast to venture into the photography world, but I feel that I am being stretched too thin in trying to run my own business and work a full time job that I also love. Being a photographer is a lot more than endless hours of research to learn how to take high quality photos. It's being your own book keeper, web designer, secretary, advertising agent, and more. I will still be taking photos, and probably will share them on here because it's something I enjoy. I love the creative outlet and learning experience it has given me. I will not be doing scheduled sessions other than the remaining one I currently have scheduled. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me. Thank you so much for supporting me in this journey, love you guys so much. ((insta hug))

Had such a fun time dodging rain showers with these two cuties tonight! Loved catching up with Katie who was in my nursing class at Ball State and is a fellow NICU nurse. Also loved meeting her sweet hubby-to-be Blake and hearing about their love story that started 7 years ago in high school! Thank you for letting me capture such a sweet moment in your lives, congrats you two! 💓
