I will be accepting clients soon through Pawsitive Impact. Working on a photography page for the website. Yes, I did build the website ;-)

Right now, all photos will be taken in my yard. All monies paid for photos are donations to the nonprofit. Anyone can get pictures done. And adopters can purchase digitals or prints of photos already taken while their pups were in foster care, and update with a new shoot anytime :-)

Cleaning up my Desktop (aka "The Beast") editing computer. Haven't calibrated it for color profile, so it may be off, and as always, calibrating is for exceptional prints. Every screen has variations in color and brightness depending on the settings of your phone, tablet, or computer. Ramble, Ramble...

This is LYLE, our FIRST EVER Pawsitive Impact dog. He had a fractured pelvic bone and is HW positive. He goes for his last heartworm shot at Spartanburg Humane Society tomorrow! He is the most gorgeous SHORT STACK you have ever seen! I can't wait until 30 days after his shot when his crate rest will be over. He LOVES to RUN!

Got the beast setup! Have so.e photos of Lyle that need editing. Hopefully will get in there soon! I still need to add a photography page to the Pawsitive Impact website (https://pawsitive-impact.org/) and get on top of promoting our 5 babies for foster and adoption!

I got my EIN for Pawsitive Impact as a business! First step towards a non-profit down 😁!

Moving forward, this page will be part of Pawsitive Impact by showcasing photos from our (well just me for now 🐾) photography services. All services purchased through Pawsitive Impact (no longer going to be Emerald Moon) will go 💯 towards helping reduce the overpopulation of dogs in shelters and rescues and strays in need.

Pawsitive Impact will also be offering dog training services!

We are loving SC and our new home. I miss photography so much. I am excited to learn new locations and make new photographer friends here. It looks like once I magnificently landscape and plant my front yard I will be able to have a permanent location! Yay big yards! It's going to take time though.

As always when learning a new area, including my yard, I photograph for free or donations to local animal rescue. So far my favorite is PAWS in Anderson SC.

My plan is to put in shrubbery the furbabies won't be able to get through but have a metal garden fence there to keep small pets safe as well. As always, leashes are removed so for safety I prefer leashes and collars on.

Still need to setup my super computer and need a new desk to do that, so here's a picture of my first born I keep on my tablet.

Please understand that Emerald Moon Photography no longer exists at the moment. We have moved to South Carolina and need to settle in and get a SC biz license before operating.

We are signing on our South Carolina home this week! Thank you to all my clients and supporters in New England. Without you I wouldn't have grown to where I am as a photographer today ❤️🐾.

Once we get down there I will be looking to create a non-profit that focuses on educating families, shelters and rescues on dog body language and communication, as well as training and care. And hopefully someday we will have a mobile spay and rooter van or at least be able to give vouchers for free spay and neuters.

I plan to offer dog photography and dog training when I'm down there, but not right away. But to make it super simple for people to find me and to understand what I do, I'm going to be changing the name of my business to very easy to remember dog photography with Jen and then it will be also dog training with Jen.

It's been a year in the making but I have finally become a positive, force-free certified dog trainer! I hope this will help. My future photography clients know that despite their dog's craziness or shyness or reactivity, we are able to capture beautiful photos together, even if that means taking the time to get the dog a little bit of training or accustomed to me and my equipment.

I will be continuing to expand my knowledge forever! If I could get paid to learn that would be my dream job :-). And one of the great things about human psychology and dog behavior is that new studies are always coming out, research is continually expanding and in order to remain certified you have to maintain continuing education credits!
