I know it seems like years since we’ve been here. I just had to get these spring 🐥’s photographed!

It honestly feels like I’ve been in some sort of time warp. Needless to say, I’m bringing my camera back out for limited portrait sessions on our property thru the rest of 2021.

I have been vaccinated, all photography will be shot outside from a distance.

No babies or chicks were harmed in the making of this photo. The chicks were out for less than four minutes to make one shot happen, as it’s not safe for them to be out of their heat lamp for extended periods of time.

I came out of my professional photographer hiatus to photograph this special young ladies senior session. I have known Zoe since she was a fast talking four year old and now she's on her way to college with a full scholarship. I am so proud of her and honored she asked me to take her photos. I am in tears over how much she has grown. Shine on babe. Oh and you know Salame Jewelry Designs had to supply all the accessories.

I am honored to have a wonderful organic farmer down the road from my home, I also get to call her my dear friend. Ali of Shambhala Farms taught a Kombucha Brewing 101 workshop, and Allison of a local h**p farm, Gathering Paradise, taught yoga right before.

These ladies will be hosting monthly yoga and homesteading sessions the last Saturday of each month. Socially distanced and masked for your safety and peace of mind.

So it's been a year since I posted here. Is it because I haven't taken a picture in a year? No. Is it because I haven't photographed a full session? Also, No. I have been trying to focus more of my energy toward Salame Jewelry Designs and also, my girls.

When you take photos with me, we are not just capturing moments, we are writing a poem. A quirky little poem filled with giggles and laughter. I have been photographing for as long as I remember but studied film in college for one semester and fell in love with 35mm. Photography seems to take the backseat sometimes but, I'm still here for it.

I can also direct you toward a bevy of female photographers I trust to photograph my own family or those whom I admire and still really want to work with. Ones who's magic helps write the rhyme. DM me.

Thank you to nature for the best backdrops and glowing light and also to the Gullion's for the giggles and love.

Did you ever wonder what a photo session with me is like? Well, no matter the weather, no matter the time of day or year, I will find the best spots to get comfortable, settle in, and have a laugh.

This family session was shot here on our property, as have many of my past shoots. The more I say, I want my family portraits shot exclusively here, and the more I do them here, the more I see why it's just the perfect option.

I can even suggest places for you to dine and play around Anderson/Muncie.

Here's a little sneak peek of our portrait session just before the rain came! The ceremony was perfect and dry, except for the eyes of all the loved ones surrounding this happy couple! I can't wait to share more stay tuned...

I have the honor of shooting the June family every year and it's always fun and full of giggles. We got together at the sun drenched hour of noon, but found some glowing nooks tucked between ferns and Queen Anne's lace.

Just a peek into the maternity shoot of my dear friend Jessica. We took a 30 minute stroll through the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor and captured her at 28weeks. Her story is inspirational and beautiful. Soon we will be welcoming her and Ron's twin boys! Can you feel the joy?
