The thoughts that race through our mind as wedding photographers when driving to a wedding in pouring down rainβ¦
My very first concern is with the couple. How are they feeling? Are they super bummed? Are they panicking? How can we help them understand that this is actually a good thing?
How is it a good thing? Rain makes our already sometimes stressful job more difficult. But it also makes us stretch ourselves creatively. Some of the best photos weβve ever taken have come out of situations where we may have been stressed because of the circumstances.
So embrace the rain. Embrace the chaos. Beauty will happen because love is present.
