Amazing race with Merge Multisport team members IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta, I even got to watch Ironman Legend Mirinda "Rinny" Carfrae dreaming I could run like her! Ellie Salthouse was flying and took home the Women's Pro win. Men's Pro winner was Filipe Azevedo. My favorite athlete, Ben Mosley, completed his second half-ironman and I think will be back for more.🥰

IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta swim practice Saturday with Merge Multisport Coach and athletes. Yes, cannon balls are an essential very technical skill that needs practiced before a Half Ironman. Only a highly skilled Coach knows how important they are for race perforance and happily demonstrates in front of his athletes.

Yesterday morning, Ben Mosley and I had the honor of volunteering at Kroc Center Greenville and TriMy BestGvl for children with developmental disabilities. Ben was an assist buddy to one of the participants, and I tried to capture some special moments. These are just a few of the kids that warmed by heart and brought happy tears to my eyes. Watching their joy, seeing them overcome, their fighting spirit, their enthusiasm for themselves and others is exactly what the sport is all about...on ALL levels. Ben was an assist buddy and I think his little competivie guy gave him a run for his money to keep up. SOO much fun capturing this amazing event.

I was especially touched to learn that Shriners Hospitals for Children was one facility that helped to these kids riding by donating bicycles. How special is that!! One little girl learned to ride her bike 3 weeks before the race!! Her smile and joy was contagious!!
