Over the past couple of years, photography and videography have brought so many amazing people into my life. I’m incredibly grateful for every person who trusted me to capture special moments, whether that was weddings, portraits, events, or creative projects.

If you follow this page, you’ve probably noticed I haven’t shared much lately. Between working full time and being in school full time, life has gotten very busy. Thankfully, I still get to be creative through my career and continue working with photo and video in different ways, but client work deserves full effort, attention, communication, and energy and I never want to give people anything less than that.

Because of that, I’ve decided to step away from accepting photography and videography clients for a while, likely at least the next year.

This isn’t goodbye to creativity. I’ll probably still share work projects, random photo and video dumps, and fun creative things from time to time. I’m just taking a step back from client bookings so I can focus on this season of life the right way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, hired me, shared my work, or simply followed along over the years. It truly means more than you know.

I’ll leave y’all with a work related video that’s a little funny, but honestly… I’ll take it.

Getting to meet Brantley Gilbert was a really cool experience, and hearing him go on about how I’m “the best videographer,” saying I need an Emmy and a Grammy, definitely gave us all a laugh.

This was for a work project, but hey… I’m not arguing with him.. I do have an aura ✨

You may have seen this actor on shows like Teen Wolf, Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, or in films like Ride Along and Night School.
His name is Jeff Rose, and he’s someone I’ve had the privilege to meet a few times.

I think very highly of him, he’s always struck me as kind, grounded, and genuinely good-hearted.

When I see Jeff Rose- I see Jesus in him!

Jeff is now facing a sudden and serious health crisis: a diagnosis of metastatic prostate cancer that has already spread to his bones.
In his own words:“For the sake of my family I need to do all I can, as fast as I can, to beat this disease… I only just got the diagnosis on Friday. Of course, I need to figure out the best plan of attack.”
Jeff has found a company in Greece that can analyze his blood to determine which treatments—traditional and holistic—will work best for his specific cancer. The problem? Insurance won’t cover it, and time is critical.

He needs over $3,000 immediately to move forward with testing—ideally by tomorrow.
This is where we come in.If you’re able to donate anything at all, it could make a massive difference for someone who’s already endured so much—someone who’s worked three jobs to stay afloat, only to be blindsided by this.

It’s kind of wild that I’m in marketing, but I don’t always post about my amazing clients on my own socials... It’s not that I don’t love them (because I seriously do!) — I’m just a busy bee buzzing behind the scenes.

Hey y’all, I’m Mel Stokes and I’m the face behind Mel Stokes Media.
I’ve been doing photography and videography more seriously since around 2022, but honestly, I’ve always had a love for capturing moments. Movies, short films, TV series, music videos—anything that tells a story has always drawn me in. I love being creative in this digital world, whether it's behind the camera or writing scripts just for fun (WHEN I HAVE TIME 😅)

Right now, I’m a full-time college student working toward a degree in B.S. Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. I currently work as a Marketing Rep for SERVPRO, and before that I spent SOME time doing marketing with Andalusia Medical Group. Both have given me the chance to really step into the field and do work I’m proud of.

Photography and Videography are more of a side hustle for me, which honestly makes me love it even more. I get to enjoy it without burning out, and that freedom means a lot. My goal is to keep learning, growing, building up my gear, and connecting with more people who love what they do.

Meet Jeremy aka "Greens." This is one of Brandy's closest friends. Bring Brandy Crouch Home has been missing since August 27th 2024. She was last seen at Covington County Rest Area (that we know of) and was walking. She left her Dad's house (about 1-1.5 miles from the rest area) and walked to there with 2 dogs. The smallest dog came back the same day- the bigger dog Kilo came back after 3 days. There has been some searches about a month after she was missing, but we don't know the full extent of the searches. If you know anything, see anything- think you may see her, or have heard anything, please call Covington County Sheriff's Dept 334-428-2641.
