Biography

Deb Jaramillo is a versatile photographer who specializes in landscapes, travel and wildlife photography. She enjoys traveling the state in search of what nature has to offer, the warmth of a sunny day when flowers blossom and sway in the breeze to a wet drizzle on the cruise ship Ptarmigan as it makes its way to Portage Glacier. Deb attended Haney Vocational T

echnical Center and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, studying graphic arts and photography. She has been a featured photographer/ journalist in AK RHYTHM Magazine, and is featured in the upcoming publication of Iditarod – To The Starting Line, she also has a few works on display at the deli, Choffees in downtown City Hall. Deb enjoys giving back to the community by participating in many nonprofits, donating time and photography to such entities as, Help-portrait Alaska, Over the Edge, and The Giving Portrait. Deb has traveled extensively and still feels that nothing compares to the beauty that is the Last Frontier

I’m in Juneau for another week, it’s been beautiful the last 3 days! Lots of photos taken!! Can’t wait to get home and get them in the computer!!
