“Don’t mess with momma bear.” Momma picking up one of her triplet cubs by the scruff of its face.

Facebook is giving me a hard time. For the last couple of days I’ve been trying to post pictures of a new baby moose and it says my page is “suspended” for impersonating a celebrity! 🤣🤷‍♀️

Yesterday was my birthday (Cinco de Mayo) and I got to spend a little time with this big boar. He was quite animated and gave me a couple of fun looks as he lounged behind by this fallen tree. We've had a very slow warm up into spring with temperatures only in the mid 40s during the day. You can see a little green sprouting up in the background of the photo but there is not a lot of food yet for these guys to eat.

I photographed my first black bear of the year yesterday fresh out of hibernation. It is a special 'first' and so exciting after not seeing any bears for the last seven to eight months. Can't wait to see if this one is a he or a she and if it has cubs. 🐾
