Baby knows there's something to do with food about this clamming business but it's probably just easier to sneak a snack off mom. As you can see, a hungry and impatient baby sometimes makes for a frustrated mother. Baby didn't stay "shamed" for long before she was right back to stealing scraps.

With a view like that, the drive isn't bad. We took a spontaneous five hour middle of the night road trip in the hopes that decent data and clear skies would come together into a beautiful photo of the northern lights dancing over Denali. We were defeated from greatness by a bright three quarter moon and weak Aurora. We stood in the dark for several hours as a very faint green band faded in and out in the distance. Aurora, I'll get you next time.

I thought you'd enjoy clicking through the photos of these two troublemakers, almost as good as a video. I especially like the one of both of them with their tongues out at each other. Mama looking on with tolerance, probably just hoping they wear themselves out for a good, long nap!
