Alaska wedding, but make it jungle disco 🌴🪩

Meredith + Michael brought the best kind of energy to their Girdwood wedding — lush greenery, disco balls, an absolutely incredible floral design, and an Alaska mountain backdrop that really needs no introduction.

A little wild, a little glamorous, and just the right amount of neon. ✨

This vendor team was just as fun as the day itself. I was absolutely blown away by what Ayla created with the design and what Kasara did with the florals. They brought the whole jungle disco vision to life in the coolest way. I am so grateful I got to work alongside such a talented crew!

Ashley and Matthew didn’t have “a raven flying into a transmitter and knocking out power across an entire town” on their wedding day bingo card.

Yep... that actually happened.

Before the day had even begun, a raven flew into a transmitter, leaving all of Girdwood without power.

But if there was one thing Ashley and Matthew did all day, it was laugh.

They laughed as we climbed more stairs than any of us expected. They laughed as plans shifted. They laughed through every unexpected twist the day brought.

And somehow, despite all of that, they were completely present for every moment.

But if you looked at these photos you’d never know.

Instead, you’ll see two people exchanging handwritten vows on a glacier, laughing with their favorite people, dancing the night away, and soaking in every moment together.

Because that’s the thing about weddings: they rarely go exactly as planned.

What you’ll remember isn’t whether every detail went perfectly. You’ll remember how you chose to experience the day.

Ashley and Matthew chose joy.

Rachel + Logan 🤍

Some wedding days ask you to slow down. These are the days when the mountains bear witness and the ocean sets the pace.

After years together, Rachel and Logan gathered their closest family and friends at Salted Roots in Seward for a wedding that felt deeply personal from beginning to end.

Rachel carried pieces of her family throughout the day. Her grandmother’s ring adorned her hand, while a piece of her mother’s wedding dress had been carefully sewn into her own - both quiet reminders that generations of love were walking alongside.

From exchanging vows with Resurrection Bay as a backdrop, to ending the evening tucked between the forest and the sea, every part of the day thrummed with what mattered most: the people who know them best in the place they love.

It was simple.

Intentional.

And perfectly Alaska.
