Linen and Lace Photography

Linen and Lace Photography I am a mother, student, and soldier. I love anything that sparkles or makes me laugh! Feel free to send me a message and we can chat!

I began my photography journey in 2010 when I borrowed my first DSLR camera. These years I have spent behind the lens have been some of the best of my life! Being able to share such beautiful stories and moments with the friends and families of my clients is such a humbling experience, and I am constantly amazed and the people that I get to meet and photograph! In addition to my photography busine

ss, I am also and Active Duty service member in the United States Air Force. Serving my country is also a source of pride and passion, and I hope to continue chasing both my dreams!

"When Victoria told me I had to write a narrative to accompany the memorial photos of Chad, I got nervous.

I got nervous because it put the focus on me and the relationship I had with my big brother. And I can count on one hand how often that happened.

Since the day my brother was killed people focused on my parents. My little brother, sister and I all were told to be strong for them. Not once did anyone ask how we were doing.

That is until that guy you see pictured here with me showed up. That’s Joe, he served with my brother, and he was the one person for me that cared. And now, Victoria is sharing his story on Because of the Brave. You have made me not feel forgotten in my grief.

My brother is Sgt. Chad Keith. He was killed in Baghdad, Iraq on July 7, 2003. Chad was in the Army. Served in the 82nd.

That was the worst day of my life. I’m finding this narrative hard to write, because I don’t normally have the chance to talk about my brother.

I’m guarded.

Because even now, talking about it means it’s real and he isn’t here. It means I am older than my brother and I’ve done and continue to do things he can’t do.

He was a fantastic artist. I loved the way he signed his art and his letters. I got that I got a tattoo of Chad’s signature. He wrote a children’s book in high school. The writing and illustrations were all done by him. It’s awesome. My brother was talented as all get out. And I wish I could have shared more of that talent during this memorial shoot.."
