Apparently it’s time for a little reintroduction. 😂

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve run into friends and past clients—and gotten more than one text—asking some version of…

“Are you still taking photos?”

YES!!! 😂 I am very much still here and photographing!

I’ve gotten a little too quiet on social media. Somewhere between an incredibly busy summer, traveling, editing galleries, family life and a few unexpected hard things that make life-well life, posting kept sliding farther down the list.

So… hi again. 👋 I’m Leslie, the photographer behind Leslie Meadow Photography.

This November marks 15 YEARS since I officially opened my studio and when my youngest was just a few months old.

And now somehow…

I HAVE A SENIOR (I'm sure you have noticed LOL) Gah!!!

Some of you have been here almost that entire time. I’ve photographed your newborns who are now big kids, toddlers who are now teenagers, growing families, and even some of those little kids who have come back for SENIOR photos. 😭

And all that time, you’ve watched my girls grow up right alongside them.

That might be one of my favorite parts of what this business has become. ❤️

These days you’ll find me photographing newborns in my Anchorage studio, seniors, local families, and visiting families who want to capture their Alaska adventure. I also travel for sessions outside Alaska (more Arizona, please! 🌵), and work with local businesses and outdoor/lifestyle brands to tell their stories.

Basically, give me people, connection, a beautiful place and a little adventure, and I’m in.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably scouting a location, planning our next adventure, keeping up with my girls’ schedules, hiking, snowboarding somewhere, van camping, or convincing my family that whatever road I just turned down is DEFINITELY going to lead somewhere cool. 😂

So yes—I’m still here. I’m still taking photos. And I still absolutely love what I do.

I’m going to show up here a little more often again—not just with pretty pictures, but the stories, adventures, families and real life behind them too.

Bella | CO of 27 | When I was in AZ last month I had the chance to photograph Bella for her senior portraits. Her mom and I have been besties since our boyfriends, now husbands, left the airport in Phoenix for basic training together in 1998. We met and we were instant friends and found out we only live a mile from each other! The years, the duty stations, the million miles apart only brought us closer. I am so grateful to celebrate these milestones with her and her amazing family. Bella and Zoie have been friends their whole lives as well, thanks to their moms, but it is so special to watch these kiddo's blossom into adulthood. Bella, I am so proud of you and the amazing person are! You radiate!

Caleb | CO 27 | I have know this family since Z and C were in Kindergarten together. Our youngest's then also started Kindy together a few years later. We've done school pickups, drops offs, PTA, and all those little things that make up those formative elementary years. I've watched as Caleb has grown up into the outstanding person he is today and I am so excited for his future. It has been such an honor to photograph these senior sessions for kiddo's that I have known since Kindergarten!

The style points for these two are off the charts, but look at those adorable smiles!!! I just can't!

Busy toddlers are my absolute favorite! Everyone asks what my favorite sessions are. Honestly, it's whatever I am shooting at that moment because I truly just love being behind the camera. However, toddlers hold a special place in my heart. I LOVE their spirit! I know being the parent of a spirited toddler can be hard, I've been there, BUT it just love that toddler energy

We took advantage of a gorgeous fall day at Arctic Valley for this sweet family session! They wanted an outdoor infant session taking advantage of some of the fall colors and this day did not disappoint! It was warm, sunny, and the colors were so vibrant! Of course their love and connection outshined it all
