anne & gilbert’s happily ever after

Kari and Alden are two of the most genuine and joyful people I’ve ever had the honor of working with and what a joy it was to create art inspired by one of our most meaningful childhood stories, Anne of Green Gables ❤️‍🔥🥹

This shoot has been a dream of mine for years, so you can bet I was so excited to find Kari and Alden and I was even more excited when Kari shared that this story was also so near and dear to her and that she always felt that Alden was her very own Gilbert :,)

Their love for each other truly flies out of these photos & Kari’s vintage sourcing for the outfits is the cherry on top. We took photos, listened to the 1985 soundtrack, and cried because what else can you do in a moment so sweet & perfect 😭This was definitely a team effort and I am so thankful to have met a true kindred spirit in the process
