Some places become part of your family’s story.
When this family reached out about a session, they knew exactly where they wanted it to be. With Clyde’s Fine Diner closing its doors at the end of the month, they wanted photos in a place that’s been woven into years of everyday moments, traditions, and memories.
That’s one of my favorite things about photography - preserving the places that matter just as much as the people in them.

There’s something about photographing people in the middle of their real life - not posed, not perfect, just present. This season I’m offering two mini session opportunities in some of my favorite places:

🌹 Summer Mini Sessions at Clare and Miles Mills Rose Garden behind the Des Moines Arts Center on August 8, 2026
🍂 Fall Mini Sessions at Jester Park in Granger on October 17, 2026

Each 30-minute session is designed to slow things down just enough to notice what matters - connection, movement, laughter, and the in-between moments that often mean the most. If you’ve been wanting updated photos that feel like you, I’d love to see you this season.

There is something entirely magical about a wedding day wrapped in quiet intimacy. ✨At Storyteller Collective Photo Co, photography is rooted in natural and candid moments - and nothing allows those genuine connections to shine quite like an intimate wedding.

When you strip away the big timelines and the heavy crowds, you are left with just the two of you, the people who love you most, and raw, unfiltered joy.

✨ RECOVERY SALE UPDATE ✨

I’ve updated the previous Recovery Sale post with a direct booking link to make scheduling easier for everyone. 🙌

For a limited time, full sessions are available for $300 plus tax (regularly $500). Sessions are being pre-booked now for future dates during the summer and fall seasons while I recover from surgery and gradually return to my schedule.

Once your session is booked, I’ll personally be in touch to coordinate and schedule your actual session date.
