I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia and moved to the United States in 1999 to pursue my bachelor degree in Graphic Design from Iowa State University (ISU). Why Iowa? Yeah, everyone asked me that (back then and even now!). My brother was an Electrical Engineering student at ISU at that time, so it was easier for my mom to “ship” me here too . Anyway, as you can see in my portfolio tab, my

photography style is about color and capturing those bright and cheerful, candid moments. I do love black and white photography, but I personally believe that black and white is an easy way out. ANYTHING can look pretty when you turn it into black and white. I love colors. I love chasing kids and making them giggle and laugh. Capturing their real spirit during their happy moments is my goal. Apparently Facebook decided nobody can see my posts anymore unless I pay to boost them 😂 So I’m just gonna leave this amazing photo of 9 grandchildren under the age of 5 that I did last weekend here as a little PSA:

Yep, I’m still in business.Yep, I’m still taking photos of all my awesome clients.And honestly… at this rate I’ll probably still be doing this in 2045. 😅

I may not post on here a ton anymore, but I’m still behind the camera, still booking sessions, and still super thankful for every family, senior, couple, and client who’s stuck with me all these years.

Kicking off my very first wedding of the season today, and I truly couldn’t ask for a sweeter love story.

They met the old-fashioned way, she worked at the bookstore, he delivered the books. Somewhere between stacks of stories and UPS deliveries, they found their own happily ever after.

I’m so excited to capture every laugh, happy tear, and little moment of their special day today! Cheers to the start of wedding season and to these two beginning their next chapter together!
