Marissa & Ben’s wedding day was wrapped in all the things I love most about photographing autumn weddings: the changing leaves, the quiet stillness of the water, and the way the landscape seems to become part of the story itself. 🍂

With the mountains beginning to turn and the trees carrying their first hints of orange and gold, the two of them had a setting that felt every bit as special as the day they were celebrating. There was something lovely about seeing them together in the middle of it all, completely at home with one another.

A day shaped by the season, filled with the people they love, and marked by the little moments that make a wedding feel like theirs. The kind of day you look back on and remember not just how everything looked, but how it all felt.

There’s something about autumn weddings that will always have my heart. The cozy colors, the crisp air, and all the little details that make the season feel so magical.

The pressure to match their wedding day energy is real. Gatsby & Bruce showed up in their finest little bow ties, ready to celebrate their humans and be right by their side for such a special day. Already having their parents’ hearts completely wrapped around their little paws, they spent the day making everyone else fall in love with them too. 🤍🐾

And, of course, they weren’t just busy being adorable and stealing hearts… they were also doing their very best to sneakily score some cocktail hour snacks.

Reminiscing on this picture perfect autumn day, when the mountain was showing off in every possible way and the colors felt almost too beautiful to be real. 🍂

It was such a beautiful backdrop for this couple and for a day that held so much meaning for their family. Hunter was a place that meant so much to the bride’s family, which made being there to document these moments feel even more special.

I couldn’t help but feel like her dad was there with us in some way, watching over them and maybe having a little something to do with just how perfectly everything came together that day. Some places hold memories, some hold love, and some somehow manage to hold both. 🤍

Their first baby. Their original little love. 🤍

Callie may have a new title now—big sister—but she’ll always be the one who came first. The one who was there for the beginning of this family, and now gets to quietly watch over its newest little member. 🐾

And getting to photograph this chapter feels extra special to me. Cassie has been supporting this little business of mine for so many years, trusting me to capture so many meaningful moments along the way. Being invited back in to document this newest chapter, and seeing her become a mama, means more to me than I can really put into words.

From their first baby to their newest little love, I’m just so grateful I get to be here to witness it all. 💜

There’s something I really love about photographing artists.

You get to create a little space for someone to step fully into who they are and then build something beautiful around that.

That’s what this session with Theresa was for me.

We played with poses, movement, expression, light, and all the little details that helped these images feel like her. A little edgy, a little playful, a little moody, and with just the right amount of badass.

I wanted to create portraits that felt intentional without losing the personality underneath them. Images that could live within her brand, while still feeling like a genuine reflection of the woman behind it.

Theresa, thank you for trusting me with a little piece of your world and letting me have so much fun creating these with you. It was such a pleasure getting to bring this vision to life with you. 🖤

You get to create a little space for someone to step fully into who they are and then build something beautiful around that.
