Here’s what happens if the photographer is sick 🤧:

I can offer to reschedule, which in some cases works out just fine! People tend to be empathetic because - life happens!

But sometimes sessions can’t be rescheduled, like this family who came from out of town and had to get 4 kids ready to drag out to the canyon for their first ever family photos! So in this case, I asked a good friend to cover the session for me, and because I really wanted their experience to go just as they had hoped, I showed up, stuffy head, crazy cough and all and second shot their session from a distance 🫣😆

All of this to say, please be kind to your photographer when they are experiencing human moments. And if you did your research, and picked someone to trust in, know that they’ll go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of!

Becca + Reece celebrated their 5th anniversary with a steamy speakeasy session at The Barfield, Autograph Collection

I can’t thank Becca enough for all the support she has shown my business in the past several years! Not only coming back for all of their big life moments, but sharing posts, recommending friends, and cheering me on. So I gifted them this session as just a small token of how much that really means to me. There are a lot of choices out there, and to be chosen over and over is something worth BIG gratitude. 🤍

Here’s a sweet in-home newborn session. My favorite part was when big sister grabbed her pink digital camera and followed me around being the best photographer! She was even watching the angles I was getting and trying out her own! Melted my heart.

POV: you enter a wedding giveaway and someone hands you a $15,000 check instead of a bouquet!

What started as a tiny idea to bring local wedding vendors together turned into a $15K wedding completely free for these two- and getting to watch Kaitlin realize she actually won was my favorite part! 🥹

-extra backup of your wedding images
-someone to help the photographer when the timeline gets tight, people need to be found, or anything has been forgotten!
-different angles and vantage points, thus a more complete story of the day
-a team who can split up and cover different events at the same time
