My name is Perla Salazar and thats what stands behind the name of P.S. Capturing Love Photography!

I am a Photographer from Amarillo, TX serving the Texas Panhandle and traveling at times. My style is partly influenced by my passion for photography, I specialize in Seniors, Fine Art Portraiture, Fashion, Editorial Woman Portraiture, Candid Child Photography. I recently started partnering with amazing Bloggers which I love doing! I’m a longtime admirer of natural light and golden hour, Capturing

Love and real moments. My editing is inspired by the way the atmosphere feels during the photoshoot, from rich and dark earth tones bright and airy with color pops. I love nature, working outdoors is always my default. I started with my photography journey in 2012 while working in the Nursing field, taking care of elders. My passion for photography grew when I learned that photographs are one of the only few things people are left with, there is so much more to a photograph than most people think, there is so much love, memories and appreciation. Now, I run the Photography Journey full time, making dreams come true and absorbing peoples love, style and trends as I go. I hope to have the opportunity to shake your hand one day and talk about making memories of course over a cup of coffee!

BOY MOM

In the fall of 2016, I met this very young couple. I photographed their very first maternity portraits, and little did we know, Mom would go into labor that very same night. 🤍

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of capturing everything in between. Their growing family, their milestones, their most memorable seasons, and all the beautiful little moments that become the story of a life.

Today, their walls are adorned with galleries their children are literally growing up with. And one day, those photographs will become even more precious. Their children will show them to their children and tell the stories behind the faces, the embraces, and the love preserved within each frame.

That is the gift of photography.

Trends will come and go, but the most classic, timeless photographs will live on long after we're gone. They become family history. They become heirlooms. They become proof that we were here, that we loved deeply, and that these moments mattered.
