Polite Photography

Polite Photography Currently Polite Photography is no longer a business. Photography shared is for hobby only. I have adopted photography as a hobby.

Although I still consider myself an amateur photographer I have been into photography since 2014 during a deployment in Afghanistan. I was a special duty Chaplain Assistant and what simply started as me taking a picture for my Chaplain on his tablet turned into me taking over the photo ministry for the Gospel service! The guy in charge of both photo and video ministry put a camera in my hand and f

rom that point on I began my journey in photography. My husband soon ordered me a camera of my own and just about anywhere you saw me, I had my camera! All my work is self taught, but I want to learn the technicalities of photography and perfect my technique! Ultimately I want to turn my hobby into my profession!

✨ Another Sneak Peek Into What’s Coming… ✨

For the past several years, photography has never truly left my heart.

While Polite Photography stepped away from operating as a business, I continued serving behind the camera in ways that mattered deeply to me.

❤️ For three years, I volunteered with Frames of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides professional photographs for families facing the unimaginable—including children with terminal illnesses and families grieving the loss of a stillborn baby. Being trusted with those sacred moments forever changed the way I view photography and the importance of preserving memories.

❤️ This year marks my eighth year as a volunteer photographer for the Hope Lives Here Annual Gala. Hope Lives Here is a nonprofit organization that pairs shelter dogs with veterans affected by PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), training them together as service teams.

The mission is especially close to my heart because I am an Army veteran myself. During my sixth year with Hope Lives Here, I had the incredible honor of walking across the gala stage alongside my own service dog—a moment that reminded me that some of the most powerful stories are the ones we live ourselves.

❤️ I’ve also had the privilege of photographing events for the Women’s Ministry at Pinnacle Community Church, capturing moments of faith, fellowship, encouragement, and community.

These experiences reminded me that photography is about so much more than pictures.

It’s about preserving legacies.
Honoring journeys.
Celebrating victories.
Remembering loved ones.
And finding beauty even in life’s most difficult chapters.

That’s what inspired this next chapter.

This isn’t simply a rebrand.

It’s the culmination of years spent witnessing grace in grief, hope in healing, strength in community, and beauty in redemption.

A rebrand rooted in purpose.
A renewed vision.
A heart for capturing authentic stories that matter.

Because every story matters.
Every chapter has value.
And every life reflects something beautiful.

✨ Reflections of Grace. Stories of Hope.
✨ Finding Beauty in Every Chapter.

Thank you for following along as I slowly reveal what’s ahead. I’m excited to share more of Redeemed Reflections with you soon.

✨ A New Chapter Begins ✨

Six years ago, I made the decision to close Polite Photography as a business. While I stepped away from professional photography, I never stopped serving behind the camera. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering my time and talents to capture special moments for others, keeping my passion for photography alive.

Now, after much prayer, reflection, and growth, I’m excited to share that I’m returning to photography professionally with a new name and a renewed vision.

📸 Introducing: Redeemed Reflections Photography by Danielle Polite

This isn’t just a rebrand—it’s a reflection of the journey God has taken me on over the past several years. The name Redeemed Reflections represents restoration, grace, and the beauty that can be found in every season of life.

While the name is changing, the heart behind my photography remains the same: preserving genuine moments, meaningful connections, and memories that deserve to be cherished for generations.

This is just a sneak peek of what’s to come. I’ll be sharing more soon, upcoming services, and the story behind Redeemed Reflections.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years. I’m excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to serve this community once again.

💛 Stay tuned… exciting things are ahead.

Last night Pinnacle Community Church's women's ministry had a Murder Mystery Masquerade! My character was the lion, or in my case lioness, a retired military General. There were many parallels between me and my character, but I cannot say my personality lines up. It was fun, and I won the "Best Masquerade Attire"! There were so many great costumes, but I was honored!
