Okay, I'm posting this again because Facebook was being really weird yesterday and not letting me write a caption!
Finnegan has been doing really well in his training lately and is overcoming his latest fear period. Yesterday, Amber and I went on an outing with him to where he got to experience waiting in line in a very busy environment and tucking under a table for the first time. He did so well with all the people and other dogs! Then we walked around downtown Sioux Falls and stopped in at .siouxfalls. We decided we had enough of the humidity and ended the morning by walking around where he took a photo with Amber and the bear! He wasn't scared of it at all! What a brave little puppy. He got a special meaty chew to enjoy on the way home and seemed to enjoy his outing!
He has a long way to go before I'll be comfortable calling him a trained hearing service dog, but days like this make me more confident that he'll get there!
