We have been waiting a long time for this one… and it delivered all of the sentimental layers especially for me!

Kev has been one of our oldest sons. best buds since junior high.. so we go way back & his mom has loved on our children like their own.
Then grand baby Marie was rockin’ the flower girl roll like she was born for it. And I was tag team on storytelling with my oldest daughter…. so many faces I love pictured here — I can hardly call this work. I frame it as a HIGH HONOR.

He is in our son’s class and feels like yesterday that they were swimming at the pool as boys.

& I gotta give big props to fella — because he brought the props!
I always recommend layering your look with sentiment. It is more engaging and you feel more comfortable when you bring things that you love.
Like your favorite hat, your favorite drink or your favorite shades.

SACRED spaces are not easily forgotten.
This day was one of those.
Two arrows launched from the quivers of warriors. Prayers and tears unseen for decades & yet the harvest brought a joy that brought tears from an overflowing cup — if you were there you saw a sliver of GODS goodness.

Thankful to look thru the lens and see the fruit of faithfulness does matter.
It is worth the unseen tears and prayer…

Couple things I know sunset photos are a MUST on a golden summer night & watching your friends and family show up and enjoy the day is one of the greatest gifts you can give to the bride and groom.

This summer I have sat front row to so many of my friends greatest joys…
What an honor. I have known this clan for a long time. Like i remember the groom being born long. The kind of friendships you actually vacation with… you know the people who have seen the good bad and ugly— & they still show up!!
So this is an honor to say the least.
SIDENOTE:
As far as I can remember, Riley Riley Seyler has always loved pink and Malachi came second. I think she’s flopped the order now…. 🤭 💗 I didn’t even have to ask what the wedding colors would be.
I KNEW.

STATE CHAMPS🥎

congrats to the GV THUNDER in their FIRST EVER STATE RUN & TITLE….
to be completely honest, I covered the first game and they lost right out the gate I had my doubts didn’t think I’d be back for the state championship, but they showed true grit came back from behind every single game, the rest of the way. And with the bases loaded, a grand SLAM by Sophie Bird when you felt all hope was lost was truly one of the most all-American moments I have witnessed….
