The reality of doing self-portraits with no assistance 😂 more often than not, both of my hands are occupied - one by a light bar, the other by my phone which I use to trigger my camera to take the photos.

It makes for limited posing since I can’t do many positions with my hands while still hiding the objects enough to edit out later.

Granted, this would have been easier if I could have found all my gear, like my light bar tripod, but alas, this photographer has ADHD.

Self-portraits are plenty of fun, and I love being able to execute whatever ideas come to mind with no rules. But I’d still LOVE to be taking cinematically lit photos of others, I’d have so much more freedom to work with angles and poses.
